  2. I watch the Lakers lose all damn season and now they decide to win three in row and possibly lose their top 3 draft pick. Fuck!

  3. after having tried psychedelics (mescaline in my experience, combined with marijuana, which made for a bad time for me), listening to fighting the gravity was an eye-opener. mark captured something pretty great with that song. i agree, listening to the lyrics after having had a bad experience was surprisingly powerful for me. helps that the music in that song kicks ass too. these lyrics stood out to me: These eyes are too sick to see Don't leave me behind Dead and lost in a dream Yes, this is the last of me Tomorrow's just a darkened hall To an empty room When I'm far away from you what the hell happened to THAT mark?

  4. Just a small pet peeve of mine, but I hate I it when people say they ''believe/don't believe in the big bang'' or ''believe in climate change. '' It's not a matter of believing . In terms of religion, whether you think God exists, or you think it's stupid, I don't agree with both stances. I my view, the true purpose of religion is a universal tool to cope with struggle that is life. However, this concept has been grossly corrupted and perverted through Islam and Christianity, introducing fucked up shit to create division, deliberately misinterpreting the ideas of hell/heaven to get more followers and the list goes on. Sadly, now religion is nothing more than a political party.

  5. How blink could create an amazing song like Lemmings and also create an amazing song like I Miss You blows my mind.

  6. I haven't listened to I miss you in years. One of blinks worst songs, can't stand how whiny toms voice sounds. HISALP, while not perfect, is a much more tolerable song.

  7. I was listening to ''Easy Target''. And the way mark says: ''Caution on the road lies lies and hidden danger. Southern California's breeding mommy's little monster. Better run run run run run'' He sounds different. Mark sounds fucking bad ass. So much anger and energy. God Self-titled is good

  8. I'm a Christian but i'm far from religious. I'll never force views on people and in fact I believe in the Big Bang, Ice Age and all that shit (there's proof of those after all). But the way I see the Bible, I see it as a true story that has been greatly exaggerated throughout time. I see that Jesus did exist, and that he had his followers. Probably was a little crazy like our beloved Tom DeLonge, but he had his cult and loyal followers. The Romans some how saw a potential threat in him. Probably thought within 100-200 years or so, that Jesus could kick start some huge ass following capable of making millions of people ignore the ways of the Roman culture or something. So to prevent that, they crucified the poor sod (like they did with shit loads of people back then). There were probably thousands of witnesses of him getting crucified. I think those events were definitely true. But the fantasy elements of it, such as healing people incurable illnesses, or everyone being cured after he dies, being the son of God, or him being found days later, alive and well in a cave... Well, there were probably some very drunk people, or insane people waking up from a dream and believing what they just saw was real. The Jesus that was "alive" after the crucification was probably some similar looking dude and whoever saw him must've been pissed on alcohol. I mean I've been told by a drunk woman I look like fucking Clark Kent (the recent actor that plays him, forgot his name) when I actually don't. There were probably some massive coincidences as well. Wouldn't surprise me if some people that had "incurable illnesses" actually had curable illnesses or something. They just so happened to be at the time Jesus was crucified or something. A lot of coincidences and words get exaggerated the more times they are rewritten by different people throughout thousands of years. But to me, religion is ridiculous when it's forcing or preaching shit. Like I say, I'm Christian, but if you wanna be Muslim fair enough. You'll still be my mate. If you wanna be gay, fair enough. God may be pissed off, but I'll still be your friend. God sounds like a judgemental twat anyway and I hate judgemental people. Be whoever you wanna be and just accept people as they are unless they're sick murderers or something.

  9. Hahahaha. You only had to add "... man, even a fucking portergeist can do it!" to make it perfect.

  10. So you challenged him to a "religion contest". People should be allowed to believe in whatever they want as long as they don't use it as an excuse for violence or force it to other people. I'm not religious at all but believe that there is "something", aka a higher power that is responsible for us being here.

  11. Well, in the end, is a matter of taste . In the beginning I liked more Matt's voice, but I really love how Dan's voice has evolved, also his songwriting. And yep, his lyrics are amazing.

  12. Yeah I didn't think you were a Cali-bot per se, I just didn't think LA would get the down-vote from you. That's all. I remember there being a lot of love for it. On the flip side, I'm interested to see what songs No Future and more specifically Left Alone are up against as those could be 2 votes for Cali penned in for me.

  13. This is very interesting to me. You basically point by point take down and disprove the pillars of Christianity, or at least the New Testament, but yet you say you're a Christian? im not trying to start a fight/argument, genuinely curious. Do you believe in the Christian God? (Probably the wrong thread for this but I'm intrigued haha.)

  14. I have done Cocaine,Mushrooms,LSD, and some other psychedelic stuff and all kinds of little soft drugs. Coke is not that big of deal....you are just more energized and focused. but thats where it goes wrong with a lot of people. LSD gave me intense jaw pain, muscle spasms, bloated face and face pain, and i felt like i couldn't breath. but one other time when i took it it was great! awesome visuals. Never again though. My body just reacts really bad to it. Also more likely to have bad thoughts on lsd. anyway. I'm really into shrooms. I never get a bad trip and i feel more connected to my inner self + everything is so intense and dream like. I feel very happy and full of confidence and love. I really like weed and i hate alcohol. I stopped doing alcohol at 17...about 5 years ago. Tastes like shit and once you go bad...theres no way back.

  18. "After Midnight". It is my favorite post-reunion song and top 5 blink of all time for me. Probably the closest song to self-titled in terms of sound. It has the same Curish vibe I wish blink had pursued and deepened, that direction was a perfect fit... "Los Angeles" is a great experimental track nonetheless, that bridge is damn beautiful. Too bad it's against "After Midnight"...

  27. Just stumbled upon this performance again. It's awesome. Raw, acoustic and live. for the radio Derek providing second guitar and second voice for Dan. And this Emma performance, I think, was like a warm up for that:

  30. Well Travis' memoir is 49% about all the drugs he's done, 50% about all the sex he's had, an 1% about other parts of his life.

  31. If there's no Feldman I'm genuinely excited. If the hyperactive man child is still hanging about then it's gonna be the same as California and while I like California I seriously don't want another 14 pop songs from them. Please evolve and try something different. Hopefully Matt grows a pair of bollocks by then too and starts having an input.
