  1. Tbh if Mark said "fuck it" and self produced, self released without any label, like a 4 track EP of just him doing him, I'd probably love it. It wouldn't be blink and it'd probably be super damn weird but I'd like to see what he would do if he wasn't having to worry about specific pressures in the industry. just did it for him.

  2. Fighting The Gravity is one of the best things Mark has ever written. I don't mind MH, it's got some funky lyrics. the song would be great if the chorus wasnt so wank and the guitars sounded better. PLG I am fully aware is total shit but I like it anyway.

  3. Played Love is Dangerous like 5 times yesterday. Think it honestly is the most underrated Blink song on here. The actual repetition of "love is dangerous! Love is so dangerous!' isn't the greatest. But everything else is legit a perfect Blink song. Those Mark backing parts, the guitar...fkn top tier.

  6. Hmm, I'm actually very interested to hear new Mark Hoppus music that isn't blink-182. Could be a lot better than blink tbh.

  7. I respect that but personally like the simple bridges. Ppl hate the Wishing Well bridge but it might be my favorite part of the album...they just seem natural to me and atmospheric, but I get why people find them boring. It was refresshing to have a vocal bridge on Bored to Death but then before you know it, it becomes a formula and every damn song has a vocal bridge and I appreciate the neghborhoods ones more.

  9. It's definitely a good song. Just has it's flaws. The chorus actually sounds great. The melody is great. The way the whole song sounds is great. Just the lyrics in that chorus is bad and some verse lyrics could probably be a bit better too. The only thing I truly hate about the song is the bridge. It's just boring. Well I don't hate the bridge, I just hate it in this song. The rest of Neighborhoods has the same issues with it's boring and predictable bridges and by the time it gets to this song you think something about it needs to change. That's how I feel about the song anyway and how I feel about most songs from that album but that's Neighborhoods for you haha. Natives has the same issue for me. That song is fucking superb until the bridge and the song just gets boring. That bridge is just ringing out power chords or octave chords whilst Travis goes apeshit on the drums. Just repeating what GOTDF did. Wishing Well had the same problem in the bridge of that too.

  10. Can you make Dude Ranch not sound like muddy, muffled dog shit? I'd appreciate that.

  11. Yeah, I think Mark writing songs without trying to make them sound like what he thinks blink sounds like could be really good.

  12. Well the Saints did get royally screwed but Brees and Brady are going to make it look easy they live for that OT drive. In most cases if my defense was good I'd be just as confident in a stop and kick. I still don't get what Saints kept passing. They could have ran off nearly the entire clock.

  13. The coin flip has too much weight, but it's still about as fair as you can make it now at least. I guess you could give them one more shot to 'match' but think how long that could drag on. Get a stop and you have a golden chance to win it. Getting a touchdown first drive is really difficult

  18. He's not making music with Feldman. He's making pop music with Alex Gaskarth. Also, the new Blink songs sound like a continuation of California.

  19. Half of them were in order but I kept changing my mind so nevermind. When I Was Young (Most genuine post-reunion song, reflects on the past and present) Last Train Home (One of the few songs in the Matt era that was appropriately executed - tries something new but is restraint and lets Matt be himself) Pretty Little female (Second most geniune post-reunion song, perfect mix of AVA while still being blink, beautiful love song by Tom, rap is the lowest point and out of place but not enough to take away from the song) Left Alone (Solid banger from the Matt era, actual good use of the screamy Matt vocals, bridge has a nice +44 vibe and the woah’s actually compliment the song whether than hinder it) After Midnight (Geniune song, I don’t listen to it much but I heard Tom would usually go off in the bridge live but it wasn’t included in the studio, great lyrics) Ghost on the Dancefloor (Takes an AVA song to the next level with the help of Mark and Travis, great lyrics and Travis goes absolute ham in the bridge - one of their creative peaks) Bored to Death (Solid first single from the Matt era, a classic in the post-reunion light, not exactly my favorite and some things could’ve been executed better, but the perfect song to ease everyone into the new era) Kaleidoscope (Top notch Mark, one of the best progressions for new blink, great lyrics, only suffers because Tom doesn’t play on the track but Mark did a decent job) San Diego (A highlight of the Matt era, subject lyrics are a bit inappropriate for Matt to sing but he does deliver one of the catchiest blink choruses ever, the bridge however was PERFECT of Matt to reflect on his perspective, one of the few times Feldmann did something right and forced them to explore the uncomfortable - although I would argue that maybe they wanted to avoid the Tom situation and share that new chapter in a more positive light and not do what people expected of Mark. It worked out in the end) Cynical (Short but sweet song, wish it was longer but it would lose its effect, one of blink’s best openers and Matt’s iconic line creates hype to reel you into the new era, the woahs are unnecessary but you already know how it is) HONORABLE MENTIONS: (In no order) Rest of DED, Misery, LID (bite me), HAG, EISF, Wishing Well, HISALP, TOTTM, HIS, LLF, Natives, Rabbit Hole, 6/8 (BOTO is cool but would’ve been better if they bothered to changed up the melody between the verse/chorus and not doing a carbon copy of LA)

  23. I've always found Nirvana shit. Don't like one song by them. Tried to listen to them before and just can't get why they're this legendary band.
