  1. Ibanez S470DXQMBLB/Epi Les Paul Custom > Whammy > Crybaby > Big Muff > GE-7 > TR-2 > Digitech Flanger > DD-20 > Peavey Classic 30 I can get all the sounds I need out of it.
  2. I'd recommend the Valvetronix to start, its a great amp for the money, lots of different sounds in it. I've taken a few tubes amps back to the store because I favoured the sound coming from the vox. (then I figured out if I bought a decent Marshall, which is the amp setting i use on my valvetronix, I'd be set. My JCM 2000 is bomb.)
  3. For anyone who has a Guitar World subscription, on the latest magazine (MCR on the cover) cd, I'm pretty sure you can see Craig as Patricia's counterpart in the video for "Where You Can't Follow"
  4. hold down shift and highlight the part you need, then click copy, and paste it into the other song.
  5. thanks so much dude, any way to increase the quality?
  6. Any way to save/convert a gp5 file to mp3 and/or anything that I can listen to on my iPod?

    Help on new guitar

    I've got an epi LP custom, and I must say; It's AMAZING. kinda heavy though, not as easy to run around as much as I usually do when I play.
  8. it reminded me of alk3 a lot, but I'm wondering why carol's singing was left in (unless I'm going fucking insane, cuz thats what I hear .) Will there be more/any songs she sings on?
  9. Heres some cool sites; http://www.nymphusa.com/kisekae/kisekaeE1.asp http://www.jcfonline.com/resources/csgen/JCFCustomShop.htm randoms i made;
  10. i down/up mostly, but for realllly heavy parts i only downpick. i have better accuracy downpicking too.
  11. thanks so much guys, please keep your suggestions coming!
  12. My parents are divorced, and due to the addiction problem of my stepbrother and sisters mom, they're moving into my house. Which means my stepdad and mom have decided to move me into the basement and finish it. My house is pretty large, so they're gonna put up 1 big wall across the width of my basement. Since we're doing all this renovation and stuff, i asked if we can make a personal studio for recording stuff down there. So basically i need to know/want opinions on; How to soundproof the basement (drywall has yet to have been put up.), What i would need to record stuff to my computer (Software/Other Accesories), Types of mics i should buy, etc.. any help is gladly appreciated.
  13. from a respectable music store, no i would not. from a friend or pawn shop who has absoloutley no idea what it is, yes i would.
  14. I'm not sure on the exact model, but its from the Schecter C-Series. hes uses these ones too;
  15. thats sick, i think it'd look better with black pickups though. heres mine;
