  1. 1. Anthem Part 3 2. Childhood 3. Turpentine 4. Blink Wave 5. More Than You Know Still stable from my first listen. "Turpentine" is the most likely to climb a spot or two.
  2. It's still there: #158 this week. At this rate, it will leave next week, though. On the other hand, besides Adult top 40, "One More Time" is getting some airplay on Pop radio stations, too. Considering their last top 50 hit there was "I Miss You" and how ageist the format is that is nearly an accomplishment.
  3. This is an early gem. Sounds post-rockish. Even if more polished, I'd like to see them trying this route again in the future. Maybe for an epic, long closer song.
  4. Only "Edging" met the deadline (September 15th). If they were to get a nod at this point it would probably be for "best rock album" and nothing else. So, One More Time... might get nominated next year, but its "oldness" by then won't help...
  5. #1 is official. Billboard figures were even higher (125k units): https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/blink-182-one-more-time-album-debuts-number-one-billboard-200-chart-1235457561/
  6. Anthem Part 3, Turpentine, More Than You Know and Blink Wave are a tier above the rest. Maybe AP3, because the lyrics hit so hard. However, MTYK and Turpentine are the most accomplished.
  7. Yes, not many rock/alternative acts from blink's era have had the same longevity and multigenerational cross-appeal. If someone had to bet back then (1999/2000), I doubt most people would believe that for blink instead of lots of other bands. Truth is they have kept far more relevant than arguably bigger draws from the 90s, such as The Offspring or The Smashing Pumpkins. At this point, blink is even outselling the (fucking gigantic) Red Hot Chili Peppers regarding domestic first week sales...
  8. Yes, but Billboard usually releases some stats earlier. Like these, last sunday: https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/bad-bunny-nadie-sabe-lo-que-va-a-pasar-manana-number-one-billboard-200-albums-chart-1235451431/
  9. Columbia's blink-182 log the year's first #1 rock album on the HITS Top 50, with the debut of One More Time..., which opens with 118.6k. One More Time... is the first rock set to open at #1 since Red Hot Chili Peppers' Unlimited Love debuted in April of 2022. Only 1.5k units separate the SoCal punk vets from Drake at #2—For All the Dogs (OVO/Republic) moves 117k in its third week. https://hitsdailydouble.com/sales_plus_streaming https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=338188&title=TOP-50%3A-ITS-TIME-TO-ROCK It will be so close. Wow. I think final Billboard numbers are only released on Sunday, though, so Drake can still come out on top.
  10. "Cut Me Off" has an infectious chorus even if the verses and bridge don't live up to it. Similar sound to "Fell In Love" with some Motion City Soundtrack vibes included this time. No doubt it should have taken FIL's place... As for "See You", I'm pro-AVA influences in blink and I loved the intro, but after... meh. I should like it more, but it just feels like it wasn't properly fleshed out lyrically/sonically. Overall, these are just average unlike most of OMT. I don't know if they are better than any full song besides FIL. (Lyrics are up on Genius: https://genius.com/albums/Blink-182/One-more-time-digital-deluxe)
  11. A broken man, a Frankenstein.

  14. My take is it's about an alienated man going batshit crazy and he is either pondering or doing the weirdest things trying to free himself from his own feelings.
  15. 1. Anthem Part 3 2. Childhood 3. Turpentine 4. Blink Wave 5. More Than You Know 6. One More Time 7. Terrified 8. Dance With Me 9. You Don't Know What You've Got 10. When We Were Young 11. Hurt (Interlude) 12. Other Side 13. Edging 14. Bad News 15. Turn This Off! 16. Fuck Face 17. Fell In Love
  16. Still bummed about "Fell In Love", it's the only thing stopping this from having no misses for me. They should pull a Kanye West, rework it and then update the album with the new version on streaming platforms/digital editions, lol. Awesome record, though. It actually surpassed my expectations and I got plenty of those 2003-2012 vibes I wanted so much. My "new blink music" itch has been relieved. For now. Can't wait to have this in rotation forever...
  17. Nice little track. Probaly their best of this type besides "Happy Holidays...". If this or "Fuck Face" were indicative of their joke songs, I wouldn't dread seeing them on a tracklist whenever blink announces a new album. I never liked "Family Reunion"... Then, "Brohemian Rhapsody" and "Can't Get You More Pregnant" were even worse and left a bad taste in my mouth. (Ok, I concede "Fuck A Dog" or "When You Fucked Grandpa" were funny but I don't think I'd dig the TOYPAJ ones if they were more than bonus tracks.)
  18. This seems to be an early fan favorite. Imo, it's just good. Kinda think they have written this song before a dozen times and better (and I don't need to search further than "Pin The Grenade"). I prefer "Other Side" as the Mark pop-punk/skate punk throwback tune of OMT.
  19. The lyrics are the kind I always hope from Mark after he wrote WYHSB. One can actually find some stuff like this even on California, though I must agree he has been spotty. The repetitiveness of the chorus does feel earned after how expressive the verses were, but I agree adding just one different cool line would make it even better. My other minor quibble is I'm not sure if that second of silence at the end of the bridge was the best choice.
  20. I was torn on this since the lyrics leaked from that vinyl booklet video. Turns out it was missing parts that made it make sense and some worthy lines (e.g. "... we explode together"). Plus, the vocal delivery is great; love the drums during Mark's verse. Good surprise.
  21. This song is the proof blink can be fun and creative/not shallow at the same time. Something sad as fuck mixed with some of the most absurd lyrics of their career. It truly is a frankenstein of a song. Amazing.
  22. Next radio single should be between this and "Dance With Me", no doubt.
  23. Yeah, this track is a dream come true. Been wanting one more great blink tune in this vein for a long time. This takes the 80s sound even further than "Always". Add some moody post-punk songs to the mix and it would be a perfect direction for a future blink album as a whole.
  24. Lyrics resemble "Elevator". It's so intricate how everything in this is about contrasts: Can't feel his body / Everything is electric Lifting/Falling Welcome/Terrified Laughter/Silence And of course the fitting quiet verses / loud chorus thing.
  25. I don't think blink ever wrote such a clear, outspoken motivational song. Mark's bridge is my favorite part, maybe my favorite moment of the entire record. Sonically, being so atmospheric, I see this much more as a DED follow-up than from anything earlier.
