What's The Last Movie You Watched?

Recommended Posts

New Mary Poppins is delightful :)

Will definitely watch again. Recaptures magic of the original, with a better story line. Missed Bert from the OG, but Dick Van Dyke still steals the show in his other role..92 year old tap dancing, love it. And Emily Blunt is great as Pops

Seems to be getting mixed reviews, heard from a few that it’s absolutely shit.

Ive watched both home alones and jingle all the way. All 3 excellent. 8/10

Not really surprised at mixed reactions. It's an old fashioned movie. Probably not going to hold the attention of the ADD generation or people who've never seen nor care about the original. Got a big applause at the showing I was at

Nope. I hardly know anything about it, actually.

Well, it's basically Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz are two cousins competing against each other to become "the favourite" of the frail, emotionally fragile Queen. Very cynical and entertaining. Has probably one of the best scripts of the year.

Eh, I'd rather watch something not 2.5 hours long about a man who can talk to fish if I wasn't into it. But hey, that's me.

The Founder - 9.5/10

Fucking loved it.  Michael Keaton really puts a stamp on every movie he's in.

I think this would have been better with less known actors though..besides Keaton, guys like Nick Offerman took me out of it a bit.  Great movie and story though.

Aquaman

It was less awful than I expected, my expectations were pretty low to begin with though. Being a diver, I just enjoyed the nice-looking underwater scenery.
