Tyler☮
It's a fun guitar, I have one. If you have a little extra cash, I say go for it. It's not an exceptional or versatile guitar by any means, but it's fun to mess around on.
quiksilver199
It's definitely a fun guitar to play and mess around with, I just don't think I would pay full retail for it. I say if you can get it for $200-250 then jump on it! I don't think you'll regret it.

dildo69er
its a fun guitar, the pickup is the same your are just paying for cheaper wood and slightly different design. Its very fun and light, i dont regret mine at all and love it even just for the look
bennett
SO upset that it already sold. i don't think i can bring myself to spend 500 on it new. it'l probably be a long time till one pops up on craigslist again oh well
brettyboy
sorry dude!
High Value Man
That sucks.....Ebay doesn't have them used? I thought about getting it for awhile, but I decided not to. I agree, I wouldn't pay $500. I'd like to play the TD Epiphone and TD Gibson back to back to see the difference.
bennett
all of them on ebay are 500 at the moment
Tyler☮
Wait til after Christmas, they pop up on eBay for around $300 pretty often.
bennett
that would be very nice!
Pussay Patrol
Damn that sucks dude. Don't spend $500 on it, you could probably find a dot and replace the pick up for not much more than that and it's more versatile.
Dylan
I myself own a Gibson DeLonge and I have also played the Epiphone. They are similar, but ... You hold the Gibson, and it feels perfect. Fit and finish is remarkable, balance is unreal, and everything is like heaven. Then you grab an epiphone and it feels like a totally different guitar. It just feels clunky, unbalanced and the proportionality is off. It's hard to explain, but for the price, I suppose it's worth it.
Tyler☮
i just don't think i'd ever pay $3000 or $4000 for the Gibson model when you can get an even better ES-335 for like $1500-$2000.
bennett
this is bad, I'm almost considering getting it new because of the holiday money/selling my acoustic. help! haha
Tyler☮
DONT DO IT!!!! haha do it if you want, but im telling you, wait for a used one that's cheaper, it's not worth $500.
bennett
i have no idea why so many people put these on ebay for over $500 when you buy it new for $500.
Tyler☮
I'm sure some people out there are dumb enough to pay for it haha
Rusty Shackelford
I just bought a used Epi Dot with a hardshell in near mint condition for $320 total. It's also a much better guitar and more versatile. I love the Delonge but not for its asking price. I would honestly buy it for a rock the fuck out guitar but I would swap the Dirty Fingers for something like a '59. I love the look and feel of semi's but I wouldn't put a high output pickup in there, that's what amps are for.
