I'd be even more inclined to buy it if it can play the DS/3DS/Handheld games. This may be the first Nintendo console I'd buy since the NES. The WiiU had a similar feature, being able to play on your tablet screen/controller. There were also rumours that NX would be a hybrid console/portable system. No...I'm just not a gamer. 2point5
Mario looks sweet as fuck. Haven't really enjoyed a Mario game since 64. Sunshine I thought was a bit mehhhh and the Galaxy games were average. If Mario and Zelda are both available upon release then I'm bagging one of these bad boys immediately. _Kyle_
Super Mario Sunshine, to me, quite possibly is the most under-rated Nintendo game ever. It's so good.

I don't think I ever played it ... I was an asshole in high school and deemed it 'gay' and never bothered. I thought about picking it up the other day since it's the only mario game I haven't played but still haven't.
_Kyle_
It's just tough following up a game like Mario 64 which was revolutionary and a milestone. Also, nostalgia.
Thomas D.
I like the concept of the nintendo switch. Reminds me of remote playing on the vita, only with much better controls. I'll probably buy this on release day.
Speedo
I always like to give it a few months before I buy new consoles. Let them work the bugs out first.

My brother loves it, but for some reason I just can't get on board with it.
M!ke
I was just thinking of an interesting idea, I don't know if Nintendo is going to do VR, there were rumors a few months ago that they were delaying the release of this system so that they could get VR as a working optional function. If that is true, I can see how they might get it done in an affordable way, it'd be lower end, something more like what our smartphones can do, something like the Galaxy Gear VR, it'd be so simple, you just slide the screen into a unit like the Gear VR, and the screen displays 2 images: one for each eye, and using motion sensors can track your head movement. If the Joy-Con controllers (thats the name of the 2 detachable controllers that connect and disconnect with the screen) have motion sensors, then bam, you have you're in-game "hands" that can be tracked. That seems super feasible to me, its kind of crazy.
Cheerios4u98
Super Mario Sunshine is so much fun. My disc is scratched so I can only play up to a certain level until the game stops working. It's frustrating. I need to buy a new copy.
