Nosferatu
Buddha: 21 Days (Birth Song) & Time Felt 21 Days had to be included as my birth song. That intro is fucking perfect. How can Tom discredit that song? Heard interviews of him not liking this song. If there was ever a movie about me, there would need to be my birth scene. The intro begins just as I'm popping outta my mum. Love Time too. These two were the first "early" blink songs I heard after hearing Enema, Take Off and the smiley face album. Cheshire Cat: Carousel & M+M's These songs for me define early blink for me. They were also the first "early" songs I heard too. Not sure what Davey Jones will think! They have that typical chord progression, which I typically find annoying with most bands like Dave. For blink, however, I've never been annoyed with them outside of the California album. Dude Ranch: Dammit & Untitled Adore these two songs. Dammit is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Untitled is a killer track too. I don't listen to it much and haven't for a long time actually, but that song, especially the chorus, is always in my heard every single damn day. Enema of the State: Anthem & All the Small Things Anthem is one of the best songs I've ever heard. ATSM on the other hand isn't. It's nowhere near my favourite. It's not even pop punk for me. It's pop but god damn it could be the best pop song there is from the 90s IMO. It's the song I first heard by blink when I was like 7. If I never heard this, I may not have gotten into blink. I don't find this song annoying like First Date either. It's way more genuine IMO. Like Untitled, I hear it every day in my head. Take Off: Reckless Abandon & The Rock Show Hard to choose from this album. I remember listening to this album constantly at my Dad's when I was like 9-10. Now, I don't really like this album. What Went Wrong and Everytime I Look For You are my favourite songs from it, but I wouldn't choose these two songs. The Rock Show was the influence. Like All the Small Things, it was a massive reason why I first got into blink. Reckless Abandon is such an immature song but I've always loved it. Makes me want to take a shit in someone's bathroom tub. Smiley Face: Feeling This & Not Now Feeling This defines blink for their last 3 albums I think. You don't go to a blink concert and not hear Feeling This. You don't think of blink then forget about Feeling This. Well, at least I don't anyway. It's in my head each day also. It's just a fantastic song. Not Now is a massive inspiration for me too. Neighborhoods: Kaleidoscope & Wishing Well Kaleidoscope is one of my all time favourite songs and Wishing Well was the first song I fell in love with from that album. Wishing Well is just pure pop punk done right IMO, despite the obvious AVA vibe to it in the chorus. Dogs Eating Dogs: Pretty Little Girl & When I Was Young Pretty Little Girl is one of them very honest Tom DeLonge songs. He's at his greatest when he's honest in his songs. Lyrically it's brilliant. I don't love the rap verse but I don't hate it either. But Yelawolf could be farting into the mic Randy Marsh style, but even that would ever take away the beauty Tom, Mark and Travis created for the rest of the song. When I Was Young is a great modern blink song. AVA done right IMO. California: San Diego & Hey I'm Sorry Love these two songs. I wanted to include HISALP but the verses of Hey I'm Sorry are way too good IMO. The ending of the song would also fit perfectly to the end of my life. Great finish. Although these aren't blink, I'll include the side projects, but without description. Boxcar Racer: Letters to God & There Is WYHSB: 155 & WYHSB WDNTW: The Adventure & Valkyrie Missile I-Empire: Call to Arms & Lifeline LOVE 1: The Moon Atomic & Some Origins of Fire LOVE 2: The Revelator & Saturday Love TDW: Mercenaries & Tunnels CS: Overload & Chasing Shadows

Meltdown Tracker
On 1/10/2017 at 9:31 PM, boxelder said: cheshire cat -- carousel and wasting time dude ranch -- dammit and waggy enema of the state -- going away to college and what's my age again?. two great mark songs that cover common themes but just perfect them. take off your pants and jacket -- Anthem Part 2 and Please Take Me Home (two songs that have stood the test of time for me). Pretty much enjoy every song on this album except First Date, Happy Holidays You Bastard, Stay Together for the Kids, and Shut Up. untitled -- Stockholm Syndrome and Always. (Not Now if it counts too). neighborhoods -- Kaleidoscope and Even If She Falls California -- cynical and san diego I know I mostly picked singles but they do describe the albums to me! with cali i'd happily discard the rest... lol Took your list (since it was so close to mine) and modified it to make my own. I find most of the songs are unique in the sense that I'm only listing them 15 years later...my list would look WAY different if it was within the first few years of hearing the albums. Just goes to show the staying power that the albums have.

amiller5706
⁃ Cheshire Cat: M&Ms, Wasting time. Both are fast with catchy guitat riffs ⁃ Dude Ranch: Untitled, Voyeur Lyrically both are very clever. ⁃ EOTS: Dysentery Gary, Mutt Pretty tough choice. Dysentery has always been one of my favorite Blink songs, and Mutt brings back memories of watching American Pie every night during my 6th grade summer ⁃ TOYPAJ: Online Songs, Reckless Abandon. HM: Roller Coaster The break down thing in Online Songs is my favorite Blink moment. Reckless abandon is a top 5 song. ⁃ Self-Titled: Violence, Stockholm Syndrome Violence is one of the Blinks most complete song, and Stockholm Syndrome is the best song they ever made. ⁃ Neighborhoods: Kaleidoscope, Wishing Well. Not a hige Neighborhoods fan. Kaleidoscope is still a top 5 song ⁃ DED: Pretty Little Girl and Boxing day Pretty Little Girl is incredibly catchy and Boxing Day was the only time I had hope for Blink post reunion. ⁃ California: Cynical, Left Alone I wish California would have been nore like these two songs. Skiba is the best part of both. Left Alone challenges Stockholm Syndrome for my favorite all time. Man Overboard is also one of ny favorites. Extremely upbeat with dark lyrics in a time where Blink was very immature.
