Scott.
Big win for HAG. Id California going to win a round?? Wishing Well vs Home Is Such A Lonely Place Go!
Cheerios4u98
Surprising myself with this one but I think I actually prefer Home Is Such a Lonely Place. It's one of the standouts on California for me, while I've always thought of Wishing Well as kind of a filler track on Neighborhoods in my opinion. Scott.
I voted Home too. Tom's voice makes me heave
Shreya
Home Is Such Lonely Place. Lovely track. Close one though..
2point5
Wishing Well is one of my favourites on Neighbourhoods. HISALP I enjoy but the overproduction kinda spoils it for me. Think it could have been so good had the acoustic guitar actually sounded acoustic. Wishing Well, but only just.
Patient #48273
Wishing Well. It was a rare moment of honesty from Tom in that era, while HISALP is much too saccharine for me.
Shaun
i enjoy Tom's lyrics in Wishing Well, and i love the bridge, especially the keyboard, but everything else fell a bit flat for me. Home is dangerously cute and almost passes into cheesy territory, but something about it still feels classic blink to me. Skiba's vocals are great too. picked Home. Agree with this. It sounds like one giant special effect.
fran.182
Damn, wish I could vote for both. I'll go with "Home" since it's so relatable and I love the lyrics. "Wishing Well" is a rare case of a blink throwback being done right though, because it pushes forward at the same time it reminisces the past. (Neighborhoods 5 - 2 California)
theedge00
Wishing Well, despite the ladadas, the song's pretty badass with an awesome riff and cool drums

Wishing well is too good to lose this round but HISALP is a great, but unfortunately overproduced, song as well.
Jan Backing Track
Wishing Well Hisalp is a joke and Matt sounds like he's trying out for 5SOS as his next move. Never was huge on Wishing Well, really weird guitar tone, but that little breakdown/bridge makes me want to make kids and start a family. It's pretty moving.
twentytwenty
Easy choice for me - Wishing Well, fecking love that song.
vic vinegar
Did Tom ever say that wishing well was about AVA or is it something so obvious from the lyrics it's just widely assumed? Just curious. Wondering if it was in a magazine or a radio interview or if Mark or Travis revealed it or something.
Speedo
Wishing Well, hands down. Home is gay.

Nosferatu
Voted for Home in this one. Love both songs but Wishing Well to me has a poor bridge just like nearly every song on Neighborhoods. Home feels like a complete song whereas Wishing Well to me would be perfect if it wasn't for that lazy ass bridge.
Kay
Voted for Wishing Well but it was close, I dislike them both quite a bit. they both suffer from "great bones, bad execution" Wishing Well had a great riff that was totally wasted, has some dodgy lyrics and a super lame chorus. HISALP is a nice...idea... but the out come is just a bit of a mess. cringy chorus, terrible production. basically they both suffer from a loss of great potential. I voted Wishing Well because I do quite like parts of the verses but thats basically it, basically a hair between them.
Scott.
Never got the whole wishing well having a great riff. It's weak as fuck. I hate it in fact. Shit riff
