Was John Feldmann necessary to push blink back into the mainstream?

This thread has made me go back and listen to the Burnout 3 soundtrack. If you want a "best of" (if you can even call it that) 2000s emo/screamo, this soundtrack is where you should start.

i just googled around. wow, news to me. then again the last game i played was on the NES.

1 and 4 soundtracks were some of my most played discs.  John Feldman/Goldfinger actually held it down on there as well.
