Finally got around to listening to it. Its just like California in that its not necisarily bad, its just its not good. Pretty unforgetable. A lot less edm than i was expecting. Its definitely a blink song that they came to aoki with and then he just made the electronic beat and stuff. Seams more like blink featuring aoki than the other way around.

lol

After listening to it a couple of times, it’s not that bad. It’s not even an official blink song and just some odd collaboration. For what genre it is classified under, it sounds a lot more bearable than what I was expecting. It would’ve been cool if we had a rock version, but it would’ve likely been on the deluxe version in the first place. At least they made Matt sound like himself and Mark actually did something interesting, plus it’s kind of catchy. It’s a good thing that it’s a generic feature and not on a new blink-182 album that determines the future of the band.

don't care much for the song, there are some cool parts but it kinda feels like they tried to combine a bunch of random parts into a song. i'll just Forget that this exists.

also holy fuck that auto tuned mark scream pre chorus Sounds horrendous. also makes no sense in context with the song..Skibas verses are cool

Anyone with half a brain can see that the grammy nomination was a nod to past achievements and had nothing to do with the actual quality of the music on California.

It was like when Leonardo Di Caprio won an Oscar for the Revenant, was nowhere near his best film but a lot of his previous work that was good enough to win one so he got a pity Oscar - exact same logic applies for California and their Grammy nomination.

This and if anything it was such pity to how much they have fallen it made everyone appreciate past blink so much they even gave them a Grammy!  Really proud Mark Tom and Travis finally got the recognition they deserved as artists.
