We should rename the majority of the threads by using a simple system:

ARGUING ABOUT: Live performances
ARGUING ABOUT: Feldmann
ARGUING ABOUT: Blink's relevancy

Each thread is allowed 4 or 5 well thought out responses before the inevitable descent into personal attacks, poor logic, and posts about what makes a "real" fan. Adhering to this template would make sure we're all on the same page about this place works.

thanks for describing a message board!!

My clip, was miserable should've stayed at home watching Brendan Dassey and his mom say "Yeahhhh" back and forth.

Surely the record company paid for all these people to be there, there's no way anyone would pay ~$60 to be this miserable!

Wow, those are definitely paid actors. And what's up with Mark jumping around, did the label pay you to let them alter this video?

Thank you for saying this. It means more to me than you'll ever know.

Let me set the conditions.

Blink is playing near you (less than 45 minutes away). With the current lineup, with the current setlist. Ticket prices are standard, lets say $40-$60. Transportation/parking etc is on you. Do you go see them?

i saw them about 2 hours away in fall 2016. general admission, pit ticket. was right on the barricade. crowd sucked. band was below-average. setlist sucked. this was the second time i saw them with skibba after musink in 2015, and maybe the fourth (or fifth) time i'd seen them play with travis.

would not repeat.

Blinkbots? As in big fans of Blink? Well yes, I'm sure there will be big fans of Blink that go to Blink shows...? Not sure what point you are trying to make there. Did you expect Creed fans to fill GA?

I'm totally fine with people hating this entire era, refusing to go to shows, etc. But to act like current Blink is some monstrous failure is what is hilarious to me. If they were as awful as people make it out to be, no one would be at the shows, or buying records. I have been to plenty of Cali era shows and had a blast, along with thousands of other people. So while I prefer OG Blink as most do, I'm very pro "It's-Ok-To-Like-Current-Blink-And-Acknowledge-They-Are-Successful", whereas the thought of them being successful without Tommy Boy sends many of you into panic.

they're a successful (read: lucrative) tribute act, and a failed traditional (read: original) act.

blink-182 in 2016–2018 is like watching one remaining guy from the allman brothers band play songs written in 1972, at an indian casino.

I laughed at this!

I think there are just as many people here that believe anything that Blink releases must be good, and to think differently is blasphemy.

They played 15 minutes from me last time they were here and i felt ripped off. Payed way to much for an hour and ten minute show. Wouldnt see them again unless something drastically changes.

I remember the time I saw them they were onstage at 930pm and by 1015pm they were gearing up for the encore. Its pathetic.
