  3. Yeah I watched it, man was an absolute colossus of a man. Absolute gent as well, quite funny seeing loads of young Jose - seemed a lot happier back then despite having a lot less. Finished Sunderland til I die, def got a soft spot for them now and hope they get back up the leagues - good to see they managed to get a 46,000 attendence on Boxing Day, absolutely mental for a League One club.

  4. 1. 43 isn't a gimmie by any means 2. It WAS going to go in no question if it wasn't tipped. The tip literally made the difference and the defense won that.

  5. I saw Alkaline Trio live a few months back and they were fantastic. With that said, I'm not anywhere close to as familiar with Alkaline's music as I am blink's, so he could have been messing up the entire time and I didn't even realize it. But also, I almost never notice mistakes (unless they're huge ones) when I'm actually at a concert. It's easy to catch mistakes on shitty YouTube videos, but when I'm actually there at the show I never notice. The two times I saw AVA live I thought they sounded amazing even though they sound like shit in every YouTube video. When I saw blink with Matt I didn't notice any mistakes even though there probably were a lot.

  6. It's not even just the medleys and chords that are the same throughout, it's the style of song is the exact same. Oh here's another 4 chord song about the same thing, but LOUDER this time. I swear Offspring did the same song twice (The kids aren't alright). I cannot express how much more unique blink is than every other pop/punk band and gets little recognition of it. How you go from Lemmings and Emo to Dumpweed and WMAA to Roller Coaster and Please Take Me Home to Feeling This and Always and all of Untitled.. to Kaleidoscope and Natives and then become a parody band after all that? Dynamic and the most interesting band of all time to me... Only to be held back by their lack of content/discography which is a tragedy.

  7. I enjoy the hell out of TDB but some of the songs felt a little unfinished. Paralytic States, for example, is one of my favorite songs on that album but it's not ended well. There's a lot of little things like that on that album and it takes me out of it sometimes. Bought to Rot just felt like a continuation of what I hated about Shapeshift and, outside of a few songs I couldn't get into it. I haven't read the book, honestly, I'm not really super interested in it. I got pretty burnt out on her being trans. I'm happy for her but it's getting to be like hanging around a vegan who makes everything about being vegan.

  12. I thought 'You' was brilliant, binged it all on a very hungover day over the festive period.

  13. I was listening to Talksport a couple days ago and Jim White (absolute melt) recorded an interview in the away end with the owner and he said after that the cameras were there filming so I'm almost certain there is going to be a follow up. Also, Jack Rodwell - what a wanker.

  15. Every time I listen to Nevermind, I'm like, wow, this album really is so great, and then I don't listen to it again for another 3 years.

  16. Every Green Day album sounds different to me. I still don’t get the idea that all their stuff sounds the same, haha.

  18. i dont think its that bad of matt to forget alkaline songs. it's his band, he can do what he wants. but beeing offered a gig like touring the world with blink and having the nerve to step on stage an butchering classic riffs of their repertoire is just pure ignorance

  20. i know it seems like i havent updated the main post in a while, and that's true. i've been working on other stuff. but i wanted to post to say thank you to everyone who keeps posting in this thread. work on the main website spinoff is ongoing, here's a screenshot of a work-in-progress main page. my friend is helping me work on it to where each "day" will have its own individual page where we can store flyers/posters/ticket stubs. i'm not sure when this will be done, but i just wanted to post an update.
