  1. Just dropped a new "182 News" episode which features special guest @veeRob! This was a rad conversation and I appreciate Rob taking time to hop on. (I'm glad he stumbled upon the forums a few years back!) Rob created the very first blink website, and shared some incredible stories about the launch of Dude Ranch/EOTS, Scott's departure, the original Josie music video, being in the Dammit music video, Dude Ranch demos, and more. He also shared some incredible photos that he took which I will be sharing throughout the next few weeks on our socials. Will also try and get them in here, along with r

  2. tom thrives on the simple stuff. it's when he starts trying to be co-writer and kick off massive "franchises" in the effort to be the next star wars that he overestimates his own ability. baby steps, my guy

  3. The Lonely Astronaut on Christmas Eve actually has a rating of 4.63 on GoodReads. That is not bad or mediocre in any way. I haven't read it but it does sound charming

  4. Wasn’t that one of the mtv diaries? He is with his mum and he just grabs like 50 black shirts and shoved them in his bag. Or did he do that on cribs as well?

  5. Has this been mentioned yet? The Wonder Years is playing "dueling blink-182 sets" on livestream at the end of the month. Tempted to watch.

  6. I have a copy, it's pretty forgettable but it is for children and I am not one nor do I have any to read it to. The illustrations are pretty cool, though. Here's a video of it being read, if you're interested: https://globalnews.ca/video/6787592/studio-story-time-the-lonely-astronaut-by-tom-delonge

  10. Again Ryan thank you for the amazing hard work with the podcast, this was such an interesting interview from another legend of the boards Rob! Learned a lot of new stuff by the way (the signed posters during the Dammit video shoot, the two unheard Dude Ranch demos!), those 2 hours were very insightful! As always I really appreciate the name drop along with the other members in regards to the blink timeline, you rule!

  12. yea the underwater stuff is from the first, abandoned "josie" video. i'm only in the second one, at the high school, so i was spared getting wet! there is a super short clip of it on vimeo. the uncut "M+M's" is on youtube.

  16. FOB are a very interesting band -- they fall in the same grouping in my mind as bands like aerosmith, which have been around an absurdly long time and never had a lineup change, despite a drastic change in style. the hate for them is something i've never totally understood. TTTYG is an all-timer pop punk album, alongside FUTCT. later stuff like mania is pretty tragic, admittedly, and the transparent attempt to remain relevant through jock jams (my songs, centuries) is unfortunate. but they're WAY over-hated. stump is a great guy and powerhouse vocalist, and the rest of the band holds thei

  18. if you look at the rest of his portfolio, you'll see he has a very long history of terrific album design projects. i think this was a quick favor for skiba and it looks like he did all of them in an afternoon. the state flag one is actually quite good.

  20. The music video for radiohead's "Just" is one of my favourite things. A perfect short film: the 90s, London, the man laying on the pavement with everyone asking him why he's laying there
