I'd definitely trust you more than the guy who can't stop changing his username in the search of something extra clever.3 points

yes, like i said we chat on there quite a bit. he called me out on his NYE stream as "a fan who's been there since the beginning." it was kinda nice. we mostly talk gear nerding. and about my job IRL. and disneyland. lots of disneyland.3 points

Remember to Forget Me and I Really Wish I Hated You are some of the cringiest song titles. Sounds like an 18 year old pop star wrote them.2 points

Schrodinger's Douchebag😂, ey - @Mohammad Wall-E- I think you should change your name to this whenever you pull your devil's advocate bullshit x2 points

yup, that's him pretty much. just a very nice man. i hadn't spoken to him since 1998. and now that we're both middle-aged dudes it's just casual chatting. i probably geek out too much about gear, but he is always gracious with mine and other's nerdy questions if he knows the answer. was there ever mark hate? there are 1,000 reasons to think tom is a silly person. but mark? huh.2 points

Just dropping by to settle this once and for all: the untitled record is by far the best blink record and nothing Mark or Tom will ever do will likely ever come close to it again. Mark came extremely close with +44 but that was 15 years ago. alright, now that the definitive truth has been stated, carry on!2 points

The users on this website at this point are like 20 people that have been on here for 10+ years. Everyone knows who everyone is and everyone is pretty equal and everyone has been visiting this site every day for years. What is the point of giving you distinction? This isn’t an old band forum with hundreds of unique people visiting a day where there’s benefits in distinguishing frequent posters and not every user is known. It’s basically just a small social group at this point with the very occasional newbie.1 point

Sometimes I get sad that all the big conversations happen while I’m busy working/time zone issues and I miss out. Then there is other times I catch up on 3-5 pages and it’s just people whinging about mod status and I think maybe it isn’t so bad. It’s especially boring when it’s plainly obvious Coight would be the next mod anyway. Reasons being: 1) super cute 2) absolute sick cunt 3) already sent @Ghent nudes It’s days away I can feel It.1 point

This is odd behavior dude. He didn't tell me a word of what you said, so thanks for letting me see how truly cringe it was. Maybe it's just me, but someone so obsessed with being a mod, probably isn't a good choice for a mod.1 point

There's no "I" in krew after all. Yeah Jan, you need to start sliding into dm's begging for mod status instead of just making funny jokes about it!1 point

I actually agree with just about everything MGK was saying (it was surprisingly pretty good and funny), he raises some good points (why is he still so mad anyways? Boomer) But Eminem's was such a throwback, it was pretty damn funny too so I was surprised he still had some of that too since he's been pretty washed for a while now. Calling him Stan, his son and stuff made me chuckle. Also that 2pac line was so nuts can't believe he said that.1 point

Don't care what anyone says but MGK destroyed M&M's there lol 😂 Em just comes off as a boomer ranting with his diss, "man bun, mumble rappers i'm more famous blah blah" plus MGK's beat sounds sick while Killshot sounds ancient and whack af. Also Hotel Diablo > Music To Get Murdered By (both post diss albums)1 point

This is my favorite argument. Funny thing is, you're both right. Speedo definitely has boasted how he's not a fan of blink anymore, but also deep down I think we all know what he meant. Either way, you both are clowns and should just give me mod powers already.1 point

I think 320/MP3s is the way to go. The tape should get to Davey today (we lost some time with the weather). Will provide a Google drive download link soon.1 point

I saw that tweet and I hope so! It may have been worth waiting to buy it after all. I’d rather play it on the Switch than on my PC. On the other hand I’m still holding out hope for FF7 Remake on PC. It’s supposedly a timed exclusive but hasn’t been announced for any other system officially yet. It’s been almost a year, so maybe at the year mark they’ll announce something. I’ve been carefully avoiding information about that game all year to avoid spoilers in the hopes that I’ll be able to play it on my PC eventually haha1 point

Thats well cool, must of been so great after all these years for him to recognise you still! Thats why i dont get the mark hate, he seems like the most down to earth guy out of the band, a family man and always makes time for his fans...1 point

Well after all these twists and turns to today's topic (American idiot vs Untitled I think this started as?) I'm burnt. This was fun, let's do it again sometime.1 point

haven't seen this discussed, but may have missed it... anyone hear KennyHoopla's new jam w/ Travis Barker himself?? This shit bangs haaaaaaaaaaaaaard1 point

Speaking of Holes, this was very deep Speedo. You gotta love when Speedo gets deep. Wouldn't they both be contributors to the death of hair metal? Also emo pop punk is what killed 2000s pop punk to me, which one could argue, was Tom Delonge's fault, for creating the mega hit I Miss You along with his one eye cover dark hair thing, which everyone obsessed over and sparked a lot of bands to go that route, which was largely to blame for his painkiller addiction, which was due to his bad back problems, which was from carrying blink so much during TOYPAJ, which in turn puts the blame on Mark, which is why he's so depressed and miserable, he killed the one thing held so true to himself - early 2000s pop punk and spikey hair.1 point

When you think about it. Boxcar Racer and Untitled are like cousins or something. They're distinctly related, and Boxcar is where the laundry basket imploded. If Tom COMMUNICATED Boxcar to Mark, I wonder what could have been. That was so dysfunctional, I couldn't get my head round it1 point

Happy to help! a gear timeline would be a completely different beast. Albeit it might be easier, but still its hard to fathom. Got one more for you:1 point

There is only one Untitled by Blink that I will stand by to the bitter fucking end ...1 point

I fucking love Nine but Untitled > Nine any day of the week. Untitled > AI too but I do really enjoy American Idiot. Green Day are probably more talented than blink but blink still wrote way better songs every album.1 point
-
That's so untrue my jaded old dude, the divergence is what got it so talked about sure, but they were already massive and going to get talked about regardless. Feeling This? How can you say that wasn't ground breaking for blink at the time? It was like a leadup of all their previous work and into a new heavier phase. The production is perfect. Always? Here's Your Letter? Stockholm Syndrome? Asthenia? Violence? This is some of their best work, and a step above any of the competition in the emo-heavy pop punk category. Fuck your American Idiot, THAT was overrated as hell because it was a political piece from Green Day with glossy production and the beginning of the end for them (I guess Untitled was for Blink too..).1 point

Untitled is the better album in a technical and song writing sense. I guess you can enjoy Nine more but you'd be an affront to God and eventually you'll get your comeuppance.1 point
