Dr Grande sucks so bad though and has a habit of doing videos without getting all the info first and sometimes he’s blatantly wrong about the facts of the true crime cases he talks about. I've seen a few videos of his and he loves to blame the victims, especially if they are women, and he just confirms what people think/strokes their ego. I never understood why people like him and put him on a pedestal.

have never understood the MJ defense, which is pretty much everywhere these days. talented artist sure but clearly a predatory and calculating creep of the highest order, and no amount of his childhood experience justifies or even really affects how he treated children in his adult life. while nothing was ever truly proven, you’d have to have a blindfold on to not see how obvious it was that he was an abuser. throw the whole MJ away in my book.

Just a random (probably not original) thought but I believe there are two possibilities for Blink moving forward: -Tom is back (more likely scenario IMO); or -they continue as a two member band without Matt, but potentially with a bunch of guest appearances to fill in (or just a nameless buddy of Travis’ playing guitar for the Mark vocal songs). I put a lot of weight on the Matt comment. I also recall seeing something a couple years back where Mark (I believe?) said something along the lines of “we have no idea where Matt is right now” or him missing rehearsals or something? Might have been a precursor to drama, but they’ve been good about keeping it tight lipped.

Neighborhoods definitely feels like +44 meets Angels & Airwaves

Man, I'm a sucker for unreleased demos and early versions of songs. And blink has always been one of those bands that might let us hear little bits and pieces of this kind of content, but rarely intentionally let us listen to that stuff in full unlike other bands like Jimmy Eat World or especially Weezer who are all too happy to release and share seemingly every demo they ever record. I would love if next year they consider doing some sort of 20th anniversary deluxe release of Untitled. We know that Asthenia alone was a very different song in its earliest days and I would love if we could hear a full version of when it was known as Shoulda Got Caught. Surely other songs on that album have interesting demos and alternate mixes that could work in there as well. Then you know, include all the b-sides of the era (Not Now, I Miss You (James Guthrie Mix), Down (TLA Arrangment), Violence (Feeling This B-side version), Action (if such a Deluxe album didn't include a more fleshed out earlier Feeling This demo than what Action was as we got it), maybe that recording of Hope from that time, maybe Another Girl Another Planet, and then the live tracks that appeared on the various versions of Untitled and its singles internationally (Rock Show, Anthem pt 2, and Carousel live from Chicago, I Miss You and Rock Show live from Minneapolis, and Go BBC session)). There certainly is enough content without extra stuff they haven't released to fill out such a Deluxe album, yet I know realistically we wont get anything of the like at all.

Not really caring about guitar but using it as a prop on stage and dabbling on it, by a former rapper (MGK). Or joining a famous rock band like Blink 182 and having an intense backing track for every live show when that's your only job is to cover blink songs. ?

they're still the only band in the world that straight up refuses to re-release at least one album (Dude Ranch) with some demos or unheard songs (we all know that they don't have extra songs from the EOTS, TOYPAJ and Untitled sessions, but we know we're never gonna hear the Dude Ranch demos either 😥)

If "trio" is in the band name and the extra guitarist isn't on stage and is never introduced or anything, that makes it seem like they're trying to hide it. But I agree that the other guitarist was probably just beefing up the sound and not playing all of Matt's parts (although Matt's guitar parts are mostly rhythm a lot of the time).

I went off of anti depressants cold turkey because of the side effects a few years back and it took me a long time to go back on them but I am glad I did. There’s so many different types that affect everyone differently so if you consider going back on them and the side effects fuck ya I’d just talk to your doctor about trying a different medication.

Good God this is horrible! MGK doing what he does best, cosplaying guitar. Not even fucking playing, you can see he stops strumming and the guitar keeps going. How any of his fans still make up excuses for this shit is beyond me. Just put the fucking guitar down and sing, because that’s all you’re doing. Quit acting like you’re a guitar player when you’re not. ATST is literally the easiest song in the history of the universe to play on guitar.
