A couple things I picked up on.
1) Mark is sick of hearing Tom reminisce about old times and how far the band has come. So am I. Blink 182 made it 11 years ago, the reality should have sunk in long ago that they were big.
2) Mark is annoyed that the album has been delayed. When he said "We are going to record a new album" he said it very forcefully and slammed his hand down. Almost as if to say "We are FINALLY going to get this thing done after so much delay".

Just got home. Its 4am EST. The show in general was awesome. I hated that since AAR and FOB weren't there, I saw more of Asher Roth. Valencia however was pretty good. I bought the pink and black wrist bands, the 15 dollar tour bunny, and a shirt. The part that sucked was they allowed zero items into this thing so a no go on the video camera. I had to check all bags in at some booth.
Anyways the set list was awesome. It was all the usual exept I got Man Overboard, Violence, Don't Leave Me ( I think it hasn't been played much ), and Anthem pt 2. They took out Adams Song for obvious reasons. The jokes of the night where great.....
1. Tom said the Wright brothers are from NC.....They invented the Mile High Club. Which I often do by myself
2. Tom said he wanted to go down on John McCain
2. Tom told Mark that he fucked his sister right around the time they met.
3. Mark said fuck about 15 times during the whole show. ( That shocked me )
Then to wrap it up when everyone was done Mark stayed on stage and sung a solo part of Every Rose has its thorns while playing the bass. It was fucking awesome. I should have some pics in the next few days and will post them. Sorry again for no vids. Im sure someone has them.
On the way home I am in traffic and I look over with the other 3 people in my car and there is a guy in a jeep and a girl just going to town on his dick. You see this hoodie just bouncing up and down. That just topped off the night.

Wasn't me who spit. After the show I was waiting for my ride out front, and there were these two benches across from where I was sitting, and a trash can in between them. So one kid (who Oliver may remember as the UnderOath kid. ha) and some girl are sitting there, and on the bench next to them are 2 girls who were yelling at their friends who had walked away. So the UnderOath kid spits and it hit the one girl unintentionally. Twas quite funny to watch them argue about it. haha
HAHA! I do remember him. Typical Emo kid. His braces kept him from annunciating words.
The best was when that kid got kicked out of line for cutting and he heard you say he was a line cutter and he was like "I've been here since 11am!"

That story is hilarious. I think most of those security guys are retarded so you just have to act like you are important and they buy it.
Me and Bill were saying you just have to buy a black security shirt and you are good to go.

It was rushed in a sense that there was very little talking, no encore, and no Travis solo. Yet they had plenty of time to do all that. When they got offstage people chanted "one more song" but they didn't come back.
I felt as though they were going through the motions. Basically their mission was to play the songs and get offstage. They didn't seem like they were having any fun.
But I guess when you play so many dates and play songs that you've played thousands of times before, it becomes VERY routine.
Looking at videos from other shows, they have had more fun at other dates.
Still it was a good show.

good show, seemed like they were in a rush though..barley talked in between songs, didnt even do the thing at the end where they go offstage for a few mins and come back out with carousel and dammit...they just played straight threw em. The pit was def the craziest out of the last 2 shows I went to.

Met up with Billaftermath and his brother. We had the baracade on Mark's side.
It did seem rushed. Almost like they were just going through the motions and not really into it. But I am use to that by now.
It was still a good show. Although Asher Roth, I am not exactly sure what happened there. I think he was disappointed with the crowd so cut the set short.
I think for $80 we should have gotten a little more then some 30 minute set of hip hop guys and a rushed set by Blink.
I was right in front of Tom, all the shows I manage to get almost front row somehow...if you're going to MSG tomorrow let me know, I'm getting there early and gonna have some time to kill. Asher got booed pretty hard, I think he wasn't feeling it.
That's cool. I was there at 1pm and still didn't manage to get the center. But the pit looked pretty intense so I think it was better I was off to the side.
Yeah, I don't think he was feeling it either.
I still don't get why Blink didn't do an encore. They had plenty of time. The show was over at 10:30. No travis drum solo either.
Can't go to the show tomorrow.
Going to be at a wedding. Now I am pissed though.

im going too! i'm travelling ALL the way from Montreal, CA to see them. I saw them in Montreal on Friday and it was the most friggin' epic experience of my entire life. Can't wait to see them again. The bus ride there and back is gonna be long and boring but it'll be worth it. I'm sitting in section 4, row D i believe so my seat is pretty close.

The guy from Chester French was weird as hell. He kept talking about how the crowd was giving him a huge buldge and how he was going to get naked onstage. Then after the show he came into the crowd and was pretend humping all the hot teenager girls.Then some dude took his cowboy hat and put it on and the chester French guy said that it made him "horny".

hey oliver, how early did you go to stand in the front...Did you have to camp the spot all day or what?
It was not a general admission show. Meaning you sat in the seat your ticket said regardless of when you got there. I got a decent seat because I bought it at the exact second it went on sale. I didn't show up until later in the day cause I knew my seat was assigned.
If you wanted a close spot in the GA show, I'd say get there at least 4 hours before the doors opened (i notice you have GA tickets)

I was 10 feet from him when it happened cause I was stage left where the speakers were.
Basically he came to the edge of the stage and tried to squeeze in a small space between three or four speakers. I thought he was coming offstage and I was about to run over and snap a picture of him. Then he got stuck behind there and I could just kind of see in the little space him pressed up against the speakers and I was thinking "what the fuck is he doing?" He turned around to get out of it, tripped over, and fell on his back. Meanwhile Tom is singing the song and he has this look on his face like "What the fuck is going on?"
Then Tom says something like "mark get back over to your mic and sing your part". Mark got up, but you could tell he was hurt. He was grabbing the back of his neck and was embarrassed by it. He talked about it once the song finished.
I had JUST powered down my camera, and couldn't get it powered up in time to catch it. I was pissed. Cause only about 5 people were closer then I was to the entire thing.

People are going to pay $40 for a shirt that was made by some Mexican for $2? I guess a fool and their money are easily separated and Blink are laughing all the way to the bank.
Do u go to many big band shows at all? Most shirts now days at big band shows are 30-35 bucks.
I do, but I usually don't look at their merchandise. So I guess I am out of the loop.
I just think all of it is a waste of money. I am satisfied with my ticket stub and some pictures to remember the concert by. I don't need a $30 "limited edition" shirt.
