Yeah, rumor has it he killed himself because he injured a girl when he tried to crowd surf.
The reason for suicide is never that simple. It might have been the thing that pushed him over the edge, but that's as close as that rumour would be to the truth.

The show was amazing! I loved every second of it (once Weezer started). The crowd was awesome from what I could see too. Biggest and best show I've ever been to. Definitely worth the trip.
i almost lost my voice by the time weezer was done.Me too, and by the time blink was over my voice was totally messed up and still is today.

the crowd was so loud. especially during atsm. where i was you could hardly hear blink they were singing so loud.
the show was orgasmic. except for the part where me and my friends gf got vomited on. but still. best night of my life.

Haha, While I wouldn't 100% rule out the idea of them playing Mile One, I doubt it'll happen within the next year, I'd guess 2-3 years from now, if at all.
Yeah, I sincerely doubt it too, but it would be amazing if they did.

A friend and I were considering going to the closest show a few months back (Quebec I think?) But I lost my job, and he's just broke, so the road trip is out of the question.
However, I volunteer with a summer camp, and one of the 10 year old kids told me they were going to see Blink this summer, and I was rotted.
Fucking 10 year olds.
That sucks. Maybe when they tour the next album you'll be able to go. Or even better, they'll play Mile One [/wishful thinking].

I'm incredibly jealous about illScarlett being added to this show's line-up. I'd gladly trade Chester French or even TBS to see illScarlett again. And I still can't believe that this second Toronto show was scheduled for like two weeks before the other one. If it had been August 24th or something, I would've been able to go.
But I'll stop my bitching now.

merch prices for everything is $5 bucks more for canada, except for wristbands, pins, and stickers. shirts $35/45. hoodies $60

And then you have to transfer Canadian money into American money and probably lose the 5 bucks there.

I think krisseh0489 was saying that when you convert the cost in American dollars to Canadian dollars, it works out to be about the same (and I did this and for the cheaper items it's a bit more, but for the hoodies, it's right on).
I doubt you have to pay using American money. I assume they're charging $5 more because of the exchange rate, so it wouldn't make sense to charge more only to have us pay using the same currency (unless they're trying to rip us off). They also probably wouldn't sell nearly as much because I don't think many people go to shows with foreign currency.

I just saw that illScarlett is one of the openers for this show. I knew they were playing the August 8th Toronto show, but this one is news to me. Should be cool.
