  1. Angels and Airwaves were on Much On Demand today. They were interviewed and they showed a short clip of the "Secret Crowds" video. Check it out. >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfOK2vms0tw >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRmFzDWh5wI
  2. To me, this sounds like a bunch of unrelated events came together and unfortunately fucked you over. Yes, it sucks that you paid money for Modlife and starparking but could only use one of them, and it sucks that Tom was sick. But none of these things were intentional, so I don't think anyone's really to blame. It seems like you're just looking for someone or something to take your disappointment out on. And I think it's probably a good thing that you took the pictures of Tom down. I've been threatening to take my posters down for a while now. I just think that your motivation for doing it came from an unhealthy place. Try to let the anger go, you'll feel better.
  3. I went on there last night just as it ended. I was pissed.
  4. This is pretty irrelevant, but the tour with Green Day (the Pop Disaster tour) was in 2002. blink-182 did the 2001 Honda Civic Tour (and it definitely wasn't the biggest HCT). I generally agree with your post, though.
  5. I guess this is it... http://www.punkdisasters.com/media/featured/k979/p1.jpg http://www.punkdisasters.com/media/featured/k979/p2.jpg http://www.punkdisasters.com/media/featured/k979/p3.jpg http://www.punkdisasters.com/media/featured/k979/p4.jpg http://www.punkdisasters.com/media/featured/k979/p5.jpg
  6. Here it is: http://www.sendspace.com/file/jptv8h
  7. Yeah, James Blunt, Michael Bolton, two Celine Dion songs. It sucked.
  8. Angels & Airwaves were interviewed briefly and played "Everything's Magic" on Larry King Live tonight. Here it is: >http://youtube.com/watch?v=GDRWk0BLSCQ
  9. As the title suggests, I'm wondering when They Came to Conquer Uranus was re-released. Thanks.
  10. Thanks. Does anyone have blink-182 Exposed from 2001? I remember watching when it first aired on TV, and I'd love to see it again.
  11. Since this isn't a discussion, just a war on who thinks its funny and who doesn't: I get the humor in it, I just don't think it's funny. Quit trying to act smart. To be fair, he didn't say "you're stupid if you don't find it funny." You just interpreted his ambiguous statement negatively.
  12. Yeah, he helped control the overcrowding population. And his war strategies like Blitzkrieg, where planes and tanks would would attack a specific target, it was amazing. He took over so many countries. are you fucking kidding me? Learn some history then comment.. The guy is right, some of his war tactics were considered brilliant...that war strategy was actually copied by the allied forces which turned the war in our favour. We bombed a city, i forget its name, but it was filled with (and was know to be filled with) only older people, women and children (i.e. the most vulnerable), we killed thousands to turn the war in our favour... and yes he did a lot of good for germany powerwise and lifted the economic situation in the country... Not defending the guy, just stating fact...yes he killed millions of jews, that was evil, don;t worry, WE KNOW. yes, thank you, i am educated, you know. and are you referring to hiroshima? because if you are then that is a pretty poor comparison. I think he was talking about the bombing of Dresden.
  13. At the end of this article, it says they'll be touring near the beginning of next year.
  14. Yeah, he's nothing like all the other highly professional VJs. I mean, any day now, I can see Leah, Tim and Devon ending up in respectable media positions. There are very few good VJs, George Stroumboulopoulos and Rick Campanelli (I suppose) were rarities. Most VJs will be on Much for a few years, and then never heard from again. Why? Because they suck. Just because Matte isn't into Angels and Airwaves (or other bands you might like) doesn't make him any worse or better than the other VJs, they always fuck up too (did you see Head Clog on Much More Music a few years ago?). clearly just cause matt may not like ava is not the reason i dislike him...i dislike him cause he SUCKS at his job. he fucked up his interview with alexisonfire too...repeatedly asked them to comment on the song "boiled eggs" until people in the audience yelled at him the right title. same when that leah girl interview the used, got the album title wrong. its like do these people not even do any sort of research?? i agree with you on george and rick, they were the shit. now rick is so bad on et canada, i actually feel sorry for him. my all time favourite vj's though were bill walychka and master t. that was the golden era of mm for sure, it has now totally gone to shit. Yeah, I rarely watch Much anymore. And it does seem like they don't do adequate research a lot of the time. The show Head Clog that I mentioned was full of screw-ups (from Bill Welychka, Rachel Perry and many others) as bad and worse as the Alexisonfire incident you're referring to. I'm in no way saying that Matte is good at what he does, and I'm certainly not saying you should like or even respect him for it. I just don't think he's really any/much worse than the others. The "golden" age of Much (for me) was '99-'02. I miss Rachel, George, Bradford, Amanda, Rick, Namugenyi and... Ed the Sock.

  16. Considering the fact that he's interviewed them twice, I'm gonna go way out on a limb and say that he does know.
  17. I hope you do get to meet Mark, but if they're third cousins and have only met a few times, I don't think it's likely to happen. I mean, I've never (knowingly) met any of my third cousins, and I think most people only meet their extended (really extended) family at carefully orchestrated reunions.
  18. I don't think so. Seems to be a movie about surfing.
