From Mark's twitter:
12-hour studio day today. lots of creative ideas flying around in blink-182 land. let's go where we've never been...
also, lots of different tunings and drop-d on the new songs.
Shit is getting done.

haha David was one of the first to verify blink was getting back together (but none of us were sure how legit the message was), he later admitted to saying it, and not realizing that he shouldn't have yet at that point. I think we can trust David in terms of blink news.
Good times.
The reaction was priceless.

Everything blink related is so scummy when it comes to shipping, I mean $30 to ship a t-shirt to Australia is ridiculous when I know it actually costs less than $10. Yes the shirt may be "only $15" and "all proceeds" may go to the deserving people of Japan, but somehow I doubt the $20-25 profit they make off shipping is going anywhere.
tl;dr
Fuck Bompa

shipping to Australia on the travis barker packages its almost as much as the package itself...
all I want is the vinyl, and I have to buy the Cd, a shirt and stickers... Kind of annoying.
It's $43.38 shipping and handling on the $15 shirt alone. wtf?

Everyone in Australia says "one eight two", people think I'm weird by saying "one eighty two".

muppets, it was just Tom fucking around making stuff up - its a soundcheck, not a live show.
Yeah, it was just Tom playing something at a soundcheck, no one said it was a live show, muppet.
It sounds like some lyrics he has been working for what will probably be a full song in the future. We haven't heard it before, hence making it "new".
No need to be a hero.
-
It sounds like it could be alright if Tom's guitar didn't sound so shitty and he wasn't slurring like a drunk 14 year old.

It's gonna' change the world
Beneath the darkened sky

And there is no more love
I see the seven stars
I see the seven stands
I hear your deathly voice

i mean i would sure hope that it's totally different than what it first started out as. it was all REALLY shitty CGI and everything looked fake. i just remember those WWII planes flying in space and all those soldiers walking around and wondering well the hell they would even waste their time on something that looked like a video game except worse.
That shitty CGI was done by Shilo Design for the band when they didn't have a clue what they were doing with the movie, Tom was just high and wanted to make something epic. There won't be any of that shit in the movie, that was long before the met Will Eubank and the slate was wiped clean once he came back with a badass concept/script.
Also what's this shit about being rejected by Sundance lots of times? Clearly they only submitted a near finished film once and it was rejected. Tom just "wanted" to get it in to Sundance when he was talking about it prior to that.
I don't see how they could accept a 90% finished movie without a finished soundtrack anyway.
1. William Eubank is nobody important. he's never directed a film in his entire life. go look at his resume on IMDB Pro, which you probably don't have an account to.
2. that shit about being rejected by Sundance more than once is the truth because Tom has said more than once (and in different years) that he submitted the film to that specific festival
3. please explain the badass concept/script to me.
1. I'm judging William Eubank on what I have seen of LOVE. The imagery and concept both look amazing. I never said he was Spielberg, rather that Tom always said they were blown away when Will came back with the concept for the movie.
2. Tom has said stuff about showing things to Sundance in the past, yes. He always said Sundance were "really interested" but never said they had submitted the movie and had it rejected. The film wasn't anywhere near finished until late last year, it was then submitted to Sundance and rejected. Tom also said NASA were working on something amazing for their live show.

Oh god...what really matters is the song not the titles...you guys complain about everything!
True, but lets be honest "Ghost on the Dancefloor" is a putrid title.
Let's hope it's just a working title.
GHOST ON THE DANCEFLOOR BITCHES

Anyone got a copy of the latest Kerrang to confirm these titles/working titles?
Just a heads up, blink are featured in this weeks Kerrangs feature "albums to hear in 2011" and there's a small interview with Tom about the album and he reveals a couple of song titles, "Ghost on the Dancefloor" which he descriped as 'driving and epic' and "Genesis (Snake Charmer)" which he stated might just end up being called "Snake Charmer"..I think those are the right names anyway, I saw it in the staff room today at work and tried to remember the names Sorry if I got them wronghttp://blinkdisasters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=54&p=50092#p50092

The latest clue from the organiser doesn't tie in with blink headlining.

That's not how it works. It's strict, but not that strict.
If you've moved to Australia on a visa which grants you permanent residence you can apply to become an Australian citizen after living in Australia for 4 years. You don't need to marry anyone or have Australian parents, that just allows you to get citizenship faster.
