  1. I was watching the 8 bit episode with my roommate, and we both agreed it was one of our favorite episodes. I have yet to see the other two episodes from tonight, due to drunkenness and hockey, but I can't wait to watch them. I love this show. #sixseasonsandamovie

I enjoyed the game today, granted I was pretty wasted, especially since my finals ended today. It was a fun game to watch, and I had to keep interrupting my non-hockey friend and telling him to shut up whenever anything exciting was happening. I'm hoping for a LA vs NY finals.

Definitely disappointing, but congratulations Rangers. That was an excellent series, a lot of good hockey played. As far as the team for next year goes, its definitely not worth it to nuke the team. Once they bought into Hunters system, they were a Stanley Cup competitor. I was disappointed in the season, but I'm proud of the playoffs. We do have some UFAs that we should let walk (namely Wideman and Vokoun). Definitely resign Semin, especially since it doesn't look as if Kuznetsov is coming over. Resign Aucoin, he proved to be an excellent two way player during the playoffs. I love Halpern, native DC guy, and would also like to see him back. Knuble, if he doesn't retire I'd say give him a contract too. Then all the RFAs I'd say resign. Perrault, even though he didn't play in the playoffs, impressed me this season, he stepped his game up. Beagle really impressed me during the playoffs. Carlson had a sophomore slump of a season, but brought his A-game back during the playoffs. Then if we let Wideman walk, definitely resign Green, even if it does seem like he's lost a step since his injuries. Of course these are all under the assumption we can negotiate good contracts. Not resigning Wideman and Vokoun would free up nearly $5.5 million in cap space. Then in the offseason please sign a legit 2 center, that's what we really needed at the trade deadline, and still do.

Yeah, I know you could, just the picture they chose seems like one of those series winning "thank you to the fans" moments. I really hope this game 7 doesn't go to OT again. Those are just too nerve-wracking. It should be a good game though. Hopefully Beagle will be back in it for the Caps, although Halpern didn't do too bad. Holtby's fiancee just had their son yesterday, so hopefully he'll still be mentally where he usually is and well rested.

I feel like the fourth line is clicking due to Ward and Knuble, and Halpern can offer what Aucoin does, and brings in more grit. And Halperns good on the faceoff. But I can see why they aren't switching it up since it is clicking. Wideman just makes no sense. He was on for what, like 2/3 of the even strength goals during the Bruins series? And I hate seeing him at point on the first powerplay line. Also, apparently Tom is sick and has to cancel the AVA show this weekend (http://www.dc101.com/cc-common/news/sections/newsarticle.html?feed=454666&article=10113965), so you won't be missing AVA for game 7.

I can't believe that. I had a bad feeling when the announcer said the penalty didn't matter... There's still a lot of hockey to be played though. Is anyone else tired of seeing Wideman's brain lapses? I think he needs to sit a game, bring out Orlov or Erskine. I'd also like to see either Perrault or Halpern back in the lineup, sit Aucoin. I've been holding off on getting tickets to Chili Cook Off because of this series

Huge win, and so happy Beagle got a goal, he's been working his ass off. Finish this tomorrow!

Yup, I'm going to the University of Maryland, grew up around here too. And with Neuvy, I've never been too big of a fan. I was upset when we kept him over Varlamov.

Braden Holtby has been amazing for the Caps!
  13. Does their opinion even matter? I mean that is the same school that approved these monstrosities. Haha at least they made the right call in not letting them walk out looking like McDonald's rejects in all yellow or red
  14. My school, University of Maryland, had a review in the paper today: http://www.diamondbackonline.com/diversions/old-dogs-new-tricks-1.2612530
