  1. to be honest, i really didn't enjoy the video. it just seems lazy and poorly thought out. if they are going to rehash the WMAA video, i think it would be funnier if they reversed the roles where the band is fully dressed but walking through the streets with heaps of naked people going crazy, while mark matt and travis get freaked out. that way it kind of pays homage to their past but also shows how they have grown up. that being said, i really loved that they put adam devine in the video. it's no secret he and the workaholics crew are huge blink fans. he must be stoked to be included in it. imagine being a huge fan of a band and then one day you end up being in their music video. amazing!
  2. has everyone here seen this? to be honest the first time i watched it i didn't find it funny, but it's been replayed to me 15 times and now i'm in hysterics and i don't know why?
  3. YES. was thinking of this exact thing the other day, just didn't get around to making a topic. here's my track listing, and yes i kind of cheated putting not now in there, but i feel it serves as a great opening track that captures the sound blink would've gone towards. 1. not now 2. baby come on 3. snake charmer 4. the machine 5. do it for me now 6. the adventure 7. interlude (+44) 8. when your heart stops beating 9. make you smile 10. love like rockets 11. cliffdiving 12. chapter 13 13. the wolfpack bonus track - lycanthrope.
  4. play to orchid 3x p.w before bed and watch it grow
  5. does that make Ghent Richard or Erlich?
  6. quoting this because it is a quote for the ages. cannot wait to see reactions to this quote in 5+ years (good or bad)
  7. I know this song gets a lot of hate, but it absolutely went off last night at a house party. amazing what sounds good when intoxicated.
  8. THIS ALBUM IS SO FUCKING GOOD AAARRGGGHHHHHHH
  9. here's your letter, not now, always, feeling this (SS gets an honourable mention for being so fun to play on guitar)
  10. finally, some proper unpopular opinions
  11. reason. Logic. sense. god it would be nice if more discussions on here had these qualities.
  12. bit of a shame I won't be home for Christmas is losing to a cover. it really is a great song (that riff in the bridge??). is anyone able to elaborate how IWBHFC came about? would the label have approached blink and ask them to write a Christmas song?
  13. some metal/hardcore kicks ass! probably the best thing going for it is that their music doesn't get stuck in the pattern of intro/verse/chorus/verse/chorus/outro/chorus that a lot of other music is susceptible to. not to mention the contrast between clean and unclean vocals can sound amazing when done right
  14. where's all the people from the last topic complaining that the two albums aren't comparable!!?!?!?!?!????!!
  15. as an overall album, WDNTW is superior. however, neighbourhoods has a few highlights that are greater than a lot of the songs on WDNTW.
