  1. No live DVD either. I was actually really excited for that, assuming they would have fixed everything up in the studio to make it all sound really good (Tom's voice...).
  2. I think one of the main things I don't like about Some Origins of Fire is the ending. I don't like how it just fades out. For some reason that has just always bugged me. I'm not against fading songs out, but for whatever reason it just doesn't seem fitting to me in that song. And it doesn't seem like an epic enough album ending. I dunno, I'm weird.
  3. I love Do It For Me Now. I'm actually really sad they haven't played it lately. One of my favorite AVA songs. I'm just super glad I got to see AVA on their WDNTW tour, because I love all of those songs, plus they played Star of Bethlehem, I Miss You, and There Is. I love those three songs too. I Miss You and There Is are actually tied as my two favorite songs of all time.
  4. I agree with both of these points. I saw AVA back in 2006, and they opened with Valkyrie Missile, and it was so incredibly epic. I wish they would still open with it. And I also think it's stupid that they split that song. They didn't even make it so you could listen to the song without a long intro, because even if you only listen to the "True Love" track, the intro is STILL really long. Also, as a side note, the SOB/True Love "live remix" they played for the encore of their 2008 US tour was one of the coolest things I've ever seen/heard at a concert.
  5. Well since we're discussing how we like each album, I guess I'll throw my opinions out there. I think We Don't Need to Whisper is amazing all the way through. Valkyrie Missile is the most epic album intro ever and Start the Machine is an amazing ending. I love every song on the album. Even my least favorite on the album (Good Day) is still really good. I-Empire is great too. I don't like it as much, but it stays pretty consistently good throughout the entire album. I know I'm a minority here when I say Love Like Rockets is one of my least favorite AVA songs, but I've just never liked it that much. I'll still listen to it, I don't dislike it, but it's definitely one of my least favorite AVA songs, other than songs that shouldn't even be counted like Jumping Rooftops. LOVE starts out amazing. The first half is so great. The second half is not nearly as good. I think for this reason LOVE might be my least favorite AVA album, even though it has a bunch of my favorite AVA songs. Clever Love and Some Origins of Fire are my absolute least favorite AVA songs ever. They almost always get skipped by me. Until LOVE, I could listen to every AVA song and enjoy it, but I just don't like these two. Clever Love is just a worse version of Breathe, and Some Origins of Fire... Just... I don't even know. That song just does absolutely nothing for me. WDNTW and I-Empire had both amazing opening and ending songs. The opening to LOVE is great too, but I thought it had a horrible ending. Okay I know nobody asked me to do that and nobody cares either but I'm bored. haha.
  6. This looks awesome. I ordered mine, but moved out for college a few weeks ago. It could be back at my house right now for all I know. I won't get to see it until Thanksgiving! Haha.
  7. I saw them play once. They're pretty good. I enjoyed the concert, and I really like a few of their songs, but I've never been a big enough fan to be really saddened by this news.
  8. I agree. WDNTW is definitely my favorite. And my favorite songs on I-Empire are the ones that sound like they could have been on WDNTW (Call to Arms, True Love, and Heaven). I dunno if I prefer Love or I-Empire though.
  9. Huh? I think I-Empire they made the music more simple so Blink fans could like it, nobody cared about love so they experimented and made many more different sounds. Hmm, that does kinda make sense. I-Empire is definitely the most blink-fan friendly and radio-friendly record AVA has put out. I think since blink got back together Tom didn't feel like he had to appeal to blink fans in AVA anymore.
  10. Anyone record it or know where I could watch it? I don't even have Fuse. I'd rather download it than stream it but anything's fine.
  11. Baha someone around my campus put up a bunch of professional looking flyers. They all said "Want the real spin on today's meat? Go to meatspin.com for answers!" So funny Ahahaha I love trolling in real life. That reminds me of this:
  12. I dunno but since the first episode of A Different Spin was tonight I'm guessing Up All Night is also coming out tonight. I'm staying up 'til midnight!!11!
  13. Yes. LOL. what? It actually spells out "YOWAYOHWAYOWAYOH". Exactly like that, in all capitals. It's like whoever typed it out was making fun of Tom. haha! They also spelled Matt's last name wrong, there's a bunch of spelling errors/doubles of words in some of the songs (I remember seeing something wrong in EM) and they didn't add the lyrics of Love Like Rockets where Tom sings "The stars in your eyes light up the skies with all of its light and fire inside" or whatever the hell it is Oh yeah, I don't remember if it was here (probably wasn't, I don't think I was a member here when I-Empire came out, or at least not an active one) but because of that people were arguing so much about what the actual lyrics to that part were. It was probably on punkdisaters. And/or Modlife. I think because they added the YOWAYOHWAYOHWAYOH they should have put in the La-da-da's from Sirens. lolz
  14. Wow that is surprisingly awesome.
  15. Ooh, never heard of her until now, but I like her. And LOL at the jailbait thread. wtf she looks so young.
  16. Yes. LOL. what? It actually spells out "YOWAYOHWAYOWAYOH". Exactly like that, in all capitals. It's like whoever typed it out was making fun of Tom.
  17. Great book. Love that book. Always wanted a part 2.
  18. Ooh I'm glad to hear that at least Tom really likes Apple Shampoo. Cause I'd love them to play it on a future tour.
  19. I'd say even though overall this is probably one of my least favorite blink songs, the bridge in this song is one of my favorite moments in any blink song.
