  1. Oh man I fucking lovvvvvve this part. Fun to sing, and powerful sounding. Such a great line and in perfect Tom DeLonge fashion. Also, one of my favorite parts to a Blink song in a long time is that kick ASS "hold on you're breaking up!" line. Such a powerful riff and it comes at you hard. One of my favorite parts of a Blink song to blast extra loud ever.
  2. I'd be pissed if it had a single Christmas song on it. I doubt it will. I kinda wish it wasn't Christmas timed/themed either. In 6 months, when Xmas is over, having a bunch of songs in your iPod with Christmas artwork just kind of rubs me the wrong way.
  3. That Blink song board thing is amazing. I'd kill to own that thing. What an amazing piece of memorabilia. Only went for around $800. Not bad. If I had money to spare I'd have bid on it. Anybody know who won it?
  4. Good to see Mark acknowledge the new album. I have huge hopes for it.
  5. Good point. My complaints are more geared towards the immature debates that go on in here, often regarding Toms choice of clothing or his weight etc... Shit like that. Throw in a debate about rap, in a Blink forum (albeit Travis is a big hip-hop guy) and especially a debate consisting of a bunch of teeneagers (at most times), and this place just comes off as so lacking credibility. For instance, I would be emebarrassed to reference this forum when talking to anybody. The last thing I'd want is someone I know coming here to check on news I told them about, and they see some of the ridiculous shit that goes on in this forum. But hey, I guess it comes with the territory right? I don't expect to be well liked here, I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents on the state of this site. (and yes, I still visit it, I know, I know call me a hipocrit)
  6. As a casual forum goer here, but also as die-hard a Blink fan as any of you, this thread has become such shit. I check it daily for any updates regarding Blink, but the discussion that goes on in here is just shit quality. I don't know if it's because I'm almost in my 30's at this point, but my tolerance for the ignorance and immaturity in this thread has reached a new low. And now, to add to this, I have to sift through a page of arguing about rap/hip-hop whatever? Fuck off already. Can we be realistic? Rap has no place on a Blink album, and realistically, it's not happening. So why bother "discussing" it? Jesus Christ. And now, because of this post, I'll predictably be aggressively flamed to shit and get a bunch of "then why come here?" comments. The answer is simple. I'm here for the news and to discuss the BLINK news when it happens. I don't view this silly website as this great fandangled *gasp* community that so many of it's members laughably cherish. It's a fucking forum, run by people who allow a guy who completely smeared their credibility with the fake Mark interview, to continue to have a place here. Stick to the fucking tangible news for crying out loud.
  7. Everythings Magic is such a forgettable song. Bordering on bad. Typical, run of the mill AVA single, with silly-ass lyrics and stupid undertones. The only respectable thing is the guitar at times. Certainly not even close to being respected by an objective group as being "one of the best songs I've ever heard". Seriously, it might be that good to you (and that's really all that matters), and music is after all the most subjective form of art there is, but c'mon...it simply isn't a very good tune.
  8. So true. Just can't describe hearing new Blink for the first time. Hearing the first snips of new music from Neighborhoods was pretty emotional itself. Can't waittttttt
  9. Still love it, listen to it regularly. But it will never be what Untitled is to me. That continues to be my favorite album of all time and I don't see that changing unless Blink whips out 14 solid, non-filler, non-instrumental, non-"featuring" (something they've luckily only done once) tracks. Even then, I still don't think anything will top that album for me.
  10. What a fuckin bummer. AVA is so fucking lame.
  11. Not so much, No. However, whenever I hear Mutt, you better believe I think of the first American Pie. For me, both, always. Yep. I remember going to see AP2 and when the guitar for EILFY started the opening, I was stokeddddd. I mentioned to a friend how I wished they would have used some new Blink for American Reunion.
  12. I should clarify that I don't hate LID, just the fact that it's comprised of so much wasted air time with the same chorus repeated. I HATE the fact that so many songs follow the same format/structure of 2 verses and the rest chorus. The song starts off badass, sounds awesome with both of them, and I fucking love air-drumming in my car to it...I just get annoyed with the constant repeating especially towards the back end of the song.
  13. Big time. How is a song that is embarrassingly repetitive and really lacking substance even close to being one of their best? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the tune, and I LOVE how the beginning just kicks in out of nowhere...but it's one of the slightly more than a handful of songs on that album that is absolutely forgettable. Love, love is dangerous. Loooove, love is dangerous. I need love, love is dangerous. Rinse and repeat 17 times and there's the song. If I had to pick a random track from the album that wasn't a single, to be that "sneaky awesome" song, it's probably Natives. That song just screams Blink from the get-go.
  14. Damn this thread is dead. Sucks not having any news. Travis and Tom hype shit up and then they say nothing about it, fucking annoying.
  15. I get a new respect for these songs played acoustically live by the guys 15 years after they were written. Sounds awesome and it's great seeming them all happy up there together. Now please, make a big announcement and put out a new record!
  16. Hearing GMOGR acoustically is amazing. I mike like it more like that. Just seeing the band go a little more out of the box and show some respect to their full catalog makes me happy. Sometimes they seem to just get by, but now it finally seems like they're putting more effort towards their shows and pleasing fans. Now, if only that Tweet Tom posted was elaborated on...
  17. Is that asshole really a moderator now? Jesus Christ this place is a joke.
  18. Something about Tom wearing a hat just makes me like him more lol. Feels more old school and in an odd way it seems he's more humble with it. Is he still wearing AVA shirts at the shows?
  19. No need to apologize. Makes perfect sense. Sorry for contributing to the requests. Just dying to see it haha.
  20. "Can you get hard with it?" Mark awkwardly.."whattayou mean?" WTF lol. A bit awkward to say the least.
  21. Nice try. Did I say Niggers? No. Ghetto refers to more than just black people. And yes, ghetto PEOPLE wear Famous.
  22. It's funny how 10 years ago nobody knew what Famous was when I was wearing it in high school. Skip to now and all the ghetto's love it. Funny how far we've come.
  23. To say wearing Famous if you're over 18 is outdated is fucking stupid. Plain and simple. Fucking stupid. It's funny how people are applying names and stereotypes to articles of clothing. How ironic. Grow up. I've worn Famous for 10 years now, and I'm 27. I like the simple ones. I like representing the original "F" and I'm proud of it. If some random kids on a message board think that that is some representation of being lame, then they can go fuck themselves. If people like the design and want to represent Famous, so be it.
