  1. lol, Jonesie and his love for Fender amps... I love the cab it just rips. Now all i need is to see if i can find a ATA case that fits it and it think its gonna be pretty darn hard to find one
  2. hey The Fallen, may i ask where you got those pics of his rig?
  3. I could've, but then again like i said i wanted my custom speakers and V30's and G12H30's are a much better mix than plain V30's
  4. Not expensive at all....being that its custom to your specs and you can choose your own speakers. $490 bucks shipped.
  5. Hey guys, just wanted to share with you my new Avatar 4x12 cab, it RIPS, its the most beautifull sound i have ever head lol Through my Peavey XXX it tears the place down. Its got 2 Vintage 30's on top and 2 G12H30's on bottom, best of both worlds. P.S My camera sucks by the way
  6. You CAN mix passive and active, you just gotta do a little extra work on it but it is possible.
  7. do you sell the cabinet only? if so id buy it RIGHT AWAY and i have a friend who is very interested on the head. let me know
  8. lol what happend to the earnie ball? man u change of mind like you changed sucks, and insult2injury as well hehe. congrats tough.
  9. MusicMan's rule, but i could never let go my p-bass, its just who i am you know?
  10. I was going to buy some dimarzio pickups for my Fender P-bass, and i have to say that hte Quarter Pound's are better pickups than the Dimarzio P. I have heard good stuff about the dimarzios for jazz bass tough.
  11. From what i've learned' date=' a sterling is to a stingray what a jazz is to a precision.[/quote'] and that's that theyr very different from each other.
  12. thanks, yeah ryan was the one.
  13. i dont need to, i know a few ppl who have OLP, and you compared it to a nicely setup squier and the squier is better...i think someone here has one and says it sucks i think its GrandpaReefer.
  14. Not exactly. OLP isn't owned by Musicman. Musicman has just given them the rights to produce copies of some of their intruments. Also' date=' the OLPs are way better in quality than Squiers are. OLP is about equal to a Mexican Fender.[/quote'] hell no!!!
  15. a great bass player doesnt need to compose hard shit to make him a master, its the masterpiece's itself that shines. welcome to paradise is easy as taking a shit as well as longview, but i dont think any of us here would come up with something as GOOD yet so SIMPLE. as that.
  16. i love the p-bass. i have a fender one with SD quarter pound pickups. sounds awsome.
  17. you cant discard the jazz just because the "long pickups" its the sound that matters...and i find the jazz a good looking bass. then get the hoppus and get it modify and add the tone knob, it shouldnt be expensive.
  18. I'd get a P-bass because thats what i have and have come to love...i have played the Jazz many times and its an awsome bass as well...but the p-bass is versatil and you can play ANYTHING with it....the point is to know how to play it....
  19. hmm a stingray new its like $1,200 or more, wouldnt have lot enough for the nice amp. I'd get a Fender American Precision Bass or Fender 62 P-bass with a nice SWR or a Musica Man Stingar SUB, those are cheaper and practically the same. and for amps i like SWR but if not a nice Ampeg.
