  1. Switched back to Kaleidoscope. Was gonna go with Snake Charmer but I think I may like that song a tiny bit more. Edit-Interlude should be part of HAG. Thread starter should recognize that and re start the poll with HAG/interlude together.
  2. Lol at you saying GOTDF has bad lyrics. I bet if you took a poll asking which songs on Neighborhoods are the best lyrically GOTDF would be top 3 at the worst. Sorry if you can't relate to the song Oliver...... Oh I can relate to the idea of the song, but the lyrics aren't good and certainly not top 3 on the album. Fighting the Gravity is about Mark getting older and dealing with everything that comes with old age and death, or thats how I take it. They are way better than GOTDF and less corny IMO. Like them or not, LID and FTG are clearly the worst two songs on the album imo. Yep, it seems to be the consensus. I will agree that FTG is probably the most underrated song on the album. The lyrics are very good.

  4. He does in AvA what he loves to do. How is that a mistake? Ya people would rather have Tom quit what he loves doing and sell out going Blink 100% even if his heart isn't in it. People would rather have a 100% sell out Blink Tom over a 50/50 heart equally in AVA/Blink Tom. The fans that want this can fuck off. If Tom dropped AVA it would be more a financial move then him actually wanting to give Blink 100% at this point. Just let the man do what he fucking loves and quit bitching.
  5. Meh I disagree. I would take Stockholm Syndrome interlude over I'm Lost Without You and I would take HAG interlude over Fighting the Gravity/Love Is Dangerous if I had to ditch one of them. Interludes do a lot more for an album then most people give them credit for.
  6. I had to smite you once for that nasty comment you silly goose : /
  7. Was gonna do Kaleidoscope but went with Snake Charmer.
  8. Harvey do you think "owning" someone over a spelling error makes you look clever or funny. You're a perfect typist right. You never make any errors eh big guy? Then your little troll buddies come in to quote you and go "oooooooh sick burnnnnnn Harvey teheheheh!". I would of given you props if you thought up a clever come back to what I said to you. Go eat the rest of your Thanksgiving left overs fat boy. When you can't even spell the most influential band of all time right, then yeah it is ownage. But it isn't me owning you, it's just self-ownage on your part. And Canadians aren't fat nor do we celebrate Thanksgiving in November ooh you weren't trying to own me. You are just one of those douches who goes around pointing out spelling mistakes. Douche bag by day grammar Nazi by night eh? Why can't you at least put some effort in when you troll Tyler. I'm only responding to you at this point because I'm bored. Edit- You grammar Nazis crack me up because you think spelling actually matters in the real world. At a four year university teachers don't even grade spelling. I think I might of had one teacher my entire four years that underlined miss spelled words. She didn't even take off points, she just pointed it out. hey, im not trolling. im just trying to help you out dude. i know listening to korn all day while rubbing your six pack probably dumbs you down a little, so i'm not completely surprised you can't spell correctly. and just so we're clear it's "Beatles". Ok bro you got me sorry. I get a negative point off for messing up the spelling. I'll be jerking it to Britney Spears shaved head pics for a few , peace.

  11. Bro I'll keep rubbing my six pack while your ugly ass orders out for pizza every night. Either you're some fat fuck/scrawny bitch .... most people are. Which Korn song do you rub your six pack to man? All of them ......duh

  14. um ok? Lol my bad, was directed towards mark blowhard. Harvey I will try and be cool and fit in just for you. My new favorite bands are The Beetles, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, The Cure, Rolling Stones, Weezer, Green Day, System Of a Down, Boston...... Is my music taste up to par for you now?
  15. If he cared as much about Blink as he does AVA they'd actually look like a real band but sadly Blink is just a side project to all of them now. You should just be happy you have any Blink at all. Tom has a strong passion for both bands. He splits his time equally with them, what is wrong with that? I think things would be worse off if Tom disbanded AVA.
  16. Ya I think I was expecting something along the lines of "No It Isn't" and "Lillian" from Mark on the album. The problem I still have with Fighting the Gravity is how short the verses/chorus are. You get an intro that's way to long then you are left wanting more with the super short vocal/chorus Mark sings. The intro should of been cut down 40+ seconds and replaced with vocals. Only thing that really held FTG back from being a great song on the album for me.
  17. You probably think I am posting with the intent to put down Mark. I am just pointing out that I think he was underwhelming on the record and Tom surprised me. I thought Tom would bring a lot more Angels influences and singing style to the record. I was happy to see that he didn't. Like I said I am glad that Mark was able to keep him in line and pull the best out of him. I was just underwhelmed with the singing from Mark on the record. From what he showed me on +44, I know he could of given a better performance.
  18. Mark sang verses on HAG/MH/FTG. Tom sang the majority of GOTDF/Natives/AM/UAN/This Is Home/Snake Charmer/Love is Dangerous/Even If She Falls. Out of the 14 songs on the album Tom sang the most on 11. I hardly even noticed Mark was there on the album. Most people skip Fighting the Gravity anyways so he even seems there less. With all the talking Mark does and the time he invests in Blink I think he could of done A LOT more then what he gave us. I was surprised by how well Tom did on the record and underwhelmed by Mark. I was really expecting Mark to shine. All I am trying to say.
  19. That's kind of part of the issue though. Those 3 aren't always together on Neighborhoods. Exactly. The record to me sounds like 3 people battling each other. The drums are spastic and over the top.. the drum tones are pussy compared to passed blink records. I love Hearts All Gone... which had nothing to do with Tom... Tom just straight up sucks now. His voice is weird but to me that's not the whole problem. The issue lays in his writing. He writes the same melodies over and over which would be alright if they were good but they aren't. His hooks are weak and his lyrics make no sense and aren't easily relatable... Two thinks that made blink well... blink... Part of being a good songwriter is writing good lyrics and having *something* hooky or memorable about the song... doesn't need to be a top 40 pop hook but I should have been able to have some great melodies to hum in my head like I do with every other blink song. nope... Tom Delonge has lost his touch. Travis I feel did his best with what he was given... I'm sure he knew the songs weren't their best so he tried to spice them up with his drum parts... when he actually just made them weaker... but at least there's some interesting fills to go "ooo look at that Travis is such a good drummer!" Oh god one of these fucking Blink fans. The "HEARTS ALL GONE IS AWESOME MANNN!!!!!!" type of fans. You can fuck off for all I care. The main reason Neighborhoods was successful was mostly because of Tom. I can honestly tell you the only song I really like by Mark is Hearts All Gone. Mark is absolutely forgettable on this album. If this is how Mark is gonna work for now on, maybe he should just stick to the shadows and let Tom do it all solo with Mark keeping the sound more "blink". Mark honestly does NOTHING for me on this album. The drumming and Tom are what saved it. If you disagree then you need to go re listen to the album and come back to me. you are a fucking idiot. seriously. everything you say is just wrong . your opinion sucks and you should honestly just kill yourself. Lol so many people will agree with me. The main contributions on this album from Mark were behind the scenes. Apart from "Hearts All Gone" Mark put 2 +44 songs on the album MH/Fighting the Gravity and helped keep the rest of the album Blink sounding/keeping Tom in check. Tom's songs seem much more like classic Blink "Wishing Well" "Natives" "After Midnight" "This Is Home" then Marks +44 rejects MH/Fighting the Gravity. It's like what I am saying is something new, everyone agreed that Tom was the surprising one on this album and Mark seemed to be underwhelming at best. With how much Mark goes out of his way to hype up Blink and promote it I sort of expect more from him on the album then what he gave us. Oh and I forgot to ask, are you mad bro?

  21. Nah I just felt it fit best here because of the thread title being a lyric of AVA.
  22. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, what are you guys all thankful for. I really don't know where I would be without Blink 182/Angels/ +44 the past few years of my life. It has been a rocky road but music really has gotten me through the rough times.
