  1. I really get all the Tom bashing. But for me Tom was the reason I felt in love with blink-182. I've been a blink-182 fan for 17 years and I've always enjoyed Tom's songs more than Mark's. Don't get me wrong. I love the Mark-heavy songs as well. But for me blink-182 is the three of them together (Mark, Tom and Travis) and without Tom blink-182 is no more... RIP blink-182... Thank you for the good memories of almost two decades of my life.
  2. The Beatles - Hey Jude! AC/DC - Back In Black Meat Loaf - Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through Blink-182 - Wendy Clear Guns n Roses - Knocking On Heaven's Door The Traveling Wilburys - Handle With Care Pink Floyd - Comfortable Numb Nirvana - All Apologies Dire Straits - So Far Away Eagles - Hotel California
  3. Will he actually release all this "songswithoutahome" on the 1st of March? Interesting... More music for us
  4. Would really like to hear more of the second song.
  5. Just listened to the album for the first time. I must admit I am quite impressed with this album. Like all I would much rather prefer a new blink-182 album but this would keep me going for a while until blink (Tom) decides to do something... Can't believe I can't order this from the angels site. South Africa is not listed as a country for shipping. Zimbabwe, Namibia, Botswana etc. is listed but not South Africa. Really bummed out.
  6. there is no excuse for what happened. makes me sick to my stomach.
  7. For some reason I'm really looking forward to it. Hope it is something like their first LP. Didn't like the second one that much.

This is a song I wrote and recorded in 2003 just after my older brother broke his neck in a car accident. It is very personal and I would like to share it with all of you. Please tell me what you think. The photo is also from 2003. http://youtu.be/L-XTIfGdUxw
  9. Some new updates... http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Steenkamp-shot-through-bathroom-door-20130215
  10. Sorry, done with the debate. I'm a proud South African citizen and everyone is allowed to their own opinion so no hard feelings. Back to Oscar Pistorius. Some statements made by south african police: 1. Four gunshot wounds 2. They are going to oppose bail 3. Rumors of a mistaken intruder is false 4. Supposedly they have witnesses that say they heard an argument before the shooting 5. Oscar spent a night in jail for assault against a 19-year old girl in 2009 (later on the charges was dropped)
  11. I'm sorry, I forgot. You live here. You should know... Cape Town is one of the top 5 tourist destinations in the world. Sure there is problems but what do you expect from a country with such a young democracy. I can't believe you talk about apartheid as if it was a good thing. Because of apartheid white south africans like me (who had nothing to do with apartheid as i'm only 26) should pay the price for the mistakes my forefathers made. White people struggle to get jobs because of affirmative action. That's just something small. There is NOTHING POSITIVE I can say about apartheid. Nelson Mandela for the win!!!

  13. the south african police services are also apposing bail. that's not a good sign. it must mean they have enough evidence to keep him behind bars for the time being.
  14. That's your opinion. As a white South African I can see what you mean. There is lots of negatives in my country but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a terrible country. Coming back to the whole Oscar Pistorius drama. It's not looking good as there are witnesses stating they heard an argument before the shooting. There was supposedly 4 gunshot wounds.
