  1. New track - I'm a big, bright, shining star" [media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccJxAJ6sR68
  2. Dysentery Gary is pretty much the only blink track I have trouble playing, but that's just down to speed for the main riff.
  3. Shit guys, I'm writing this song and I can't find a rhyme for California.
  4. The riff for golden shower and endless summer are more or less the same. Christ Tom, if you're gunna rip yourself off don't do it twice on the same album.
  5. I've only read the main civil war book and the young avengers/runaways side story so correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the daredevil we see in civil war not actually Matt?
  6. Going from the book POV character perspective, the show hasn't caught up with Jon, Dany, Tyrion, Jamie, Cersei, Arya, Theon. Characters like Margery and Ellaria Sand didn't get scenes in the books focused on them. Part of the attraction of the books is the events happening through peoples eyes and how they interpret it. These characters didn't have chapters but obviously that's far harder to construct a show around. So it means having scenes that have to confirm motivations and actions. So those characters are technically "off book" but still following the story of the other characters. If that makes sense. Jamies story is the one that's most drastically changed from the books. From what I've seen of Danys, it's a little different but that's ok since there's a lot of stuff to get through. Sansa story has over taken the books, but it appears that they're basically swapping her out with a side character from the books instead of just writing her more story themselves. Stuff happens with a character that is made to look like Arya, but the show seems to be just doing it with Sansa instead. There are several POV characters from the last few books that they're just dropping entirely, regardless of their importance. The show also seems to be following stuff going on in Dorne much more than the books did.
  7. It's vaguely following what's left of the books for the characters. Some more true to the book than others. Does it count as spoilers if I say which characters are still following the books and which aren't?
  8. So, anything that happens with Sansa in the last 2 books is inconsequential because the show and books have the same ending, yet she'll be doing something totally different in the books. Good good, at least she's not a POV character in Winds right......
  9. I don't whether it's because I might have watched the leaked version online instead of the aired one (there could be slight differences) but the editing for some of those scenes seemed a bit off, the Dany bits especially.
  10. I'm gunna watch the rest of the leaked episodes tonight to see what else they changed. I'm ok with the show surpassing the books and spoiling it for readers, because the last 4 seasons have had books to spoil the show, turnabouts fair play. What I'm not okay with is drastically changing stuff that's in the current books. Jamie and Tyrion should hate each other.
  11. http://www.audiomack.com/song/circlepitshit/mene-1 New song.
  12. This will probably be me bitching about it on my own, but I'll throw a thread up in case anyone else has finished and wants to discuss the changes. Be them good or bad. So I've only watched the first of the 5 leaked episodes, but do you think they're doing the glamor storyline and have swapped out Mance. Or do you think he's actually gone?
  13. I finished it the day after it was out so I waited for some of you guys to finish before I started a thread. I thought it was fan-tabby-tastic. The writing, acting, choreography, fucking all of it was on point. Arrow can suck a dick, this is a "gritty" superhero show.
  14. New track up on youtube. Loving the verses. [media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esCjADNzOy8
  15. Bumping - New track this week. https://instagram.com/p/1GpSc-MeiF/?taken-by=fouryearstrong
  16. It's because the writers suffer terrible pacing issues. I was exactly the same and had entirely given up on the show. I eventually sat myself down to catch up and the first few episodes of this season were such a chore, but once they got to the town and it wasn't another rehash of "Everything is not as it seems" and Rick was actually the one fucking it up, it became far more interesting. I found myself enjoying the bits with less walkers more. The finale was a bit lackluster imo. Very good in terms of setting up next season though, just half the episode was a bit pointless. I get it, Tashas fucked up. I get it, the priest has to deal with the realisation that his god may not be real and now finds himself having to actively go against his beliefs to survive, can he stop flip flopping around from what he's doing though please? Fucking finally, the quarter staff is getting some badass screen time.
  17. I seem to remember someone asking him what he was saying in one of the google hangouts he did and he said something along the lines of "I don't remember what I was saying, it was ages ago"
