I don’t think it’s the worst album out there but I don’t think I’ll listen to it much. There are all right songs on it but they get annoying very fast. Many of them have such a weird flow
-
They released a music vid for Pollyanna last week
Video had me a bit emotional tbh. Can’t wait to go to shows again
Sometimes I forget how much I love these dudes. I’ve seen some recent live videos as well and they still sound and look fantastic
-
I’m not digging it on the first few listens. Will give it another shot later
-
Looking forward to it tbh

Aaah yes she’s cool. But on stage she kinda comes across as a try hard / fake-ish
yeah I get your point, but I think it’s just kind of how she is. At least she often appear a bit over-excited and all over the place in interviews and such as well, dunno if she can help it haha

Man is neighborhoods aging into a fucking masterpiece for anyone else around here? I had a really long drive yesterday and spun it start to finish and holy FUCK compared to anything blink or ava have done post first hiatus it really feels like blinks true swan song and the level of quality feels super high. I know they supposedly half assed it yada yada yada but it is much for enjoyable to listen to than restless souls ffs. Can I get an amen?!
I also think it has aged very well but I’ve loved it from the start sooo

Girl in red!! She has such catchy tunes

Stoked. Red has never been my fav but I’m ready to give it a new chance
-
I’m not digging the new single but I usually like her stuff. Excited about her being back
-
I think it’s quite nice. There’s something about the pace that I don’t like but can’t exactly put my finger on what
-
It’s better than their previous single at least

I have to recommend Donkeyboy although they're an English-singing band. A Norwegian synth? pop band that had some really great hits ten(?) years ago. @Maddey @thongriderWhat do you say about them?
Yeah they’re great! Lots of catchy tunes

So cool that you like them!! Happy to hear
25 minutes ago, twentytwenty said:Håkan Hellström, the biggest artist in Sweden that sings in Swedish, a total legend. Been around for 21 years now. His 20th anniversary concert that was supposed to be last year (postponed to after covid) got sold out in a few minutes, so they added another concert around an hour after that, and that got sold out in a few minutes as well (75.000 people/show). So they had to add two more shows that also got sold out so he’ll be having four sold out anniversary shows when things open up again with around 300.000 sold tickets. -
As @Maddey stated earlier, Veronica Maggio, If Håkan is the pop king in Sweden she’s definitely the pop queen, she also had a great duet with Håkan a couple of years
Håkan and Veronica are two of my all time favs of any artists out there tbh. Absolute gold

Awesome! Thanks! I'll make a playlist with all their most streamed songs on Spotify and then I'll add all the other recommendations.
Fun idea. I’ll totally check out the other recommendations you get as well

Kinda off topic but it's cool to listen to non-english speaking bands/artists and I should do it more often, recommend me your favourite music in your native language, it doesn't matter the genre @twentytwenty @thongrider@Maddey @Depf @Thibaut182
Gladly!
My fav norwegian-singing ones atm are Karpe, Cezinando, Brenn, B-Boy Myhre, Kaizers Orchestra and Daniel Kvammen.
And in case @twentytwenty doesn’t mention her, Veronica Maggio is a great swedish one-

There's basically only three different things I listen to if I listen to hip hop. One Swedish artist that raps in Swedish, in a very pop-y way. Eminem, and The Life of Pablo
Who? Just curious if there’s someone I’ve heard of

Happy 10th birthday..

I love this record
I was in high school when it came out. Still have such vivid memories from when I listened to it for the first time because I went from hating blink to loving them in a day, lol. Can’t believe it’s been ten years
