Long time since I last posted here haha!
I recently found some newly surfaced pictures from Tom's guitar during that European Lagwagon tour (October- November 1997).
This is when Tom destickered his guitar.
I found pictures from the Lille show and Paris show (which will have it's own Discovery of the Month at some point!)

I can confirm that Kurt heard Green Day, and that he really enjoyed Dookie! I was a friend of his since well before fame, and by '94, I was working at the Tower Records on 5th and Mercer in Seattle. Our friendship revolved around listening to music, talking, laughing, etc. The last time I saw him was in March '94, when I played Dookie and other stuff like Voodoo Queens for him, as we talked about everything that was going on for him at that time (discussing divorce, custody of Frances) I had already played Kerplunk for him, so he was definitely well aware of Green Day as a band. Anyway, I thought I'd share my firsthand experience, especially since the question came up, that I can actually answer, I thought you might find that interesting. - Patrick

I have a TON of archives from my end (even stuff that was deleted online or links expired on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Even stuff that's not out there and stuff that even that Instagram account doesn't have

I met Scott Raynor at Soma in 2002 when it reopened after the fire. He was taking tickets. After running them door, he chatted with me for almost and hour and he was one of the most kind and gentle people I’ve ever met. My true hero. Thank you for focusing on him. He deserves his flowers.

Thought I’d share a pretty cool piece of Blink-182 history.
My Sister Chrissy was only 18years old when she served in the U.S. Navy and was on the USS Nimitz from 02-05, and in 2003 while on deployment in the Persian Gulf overseas she heard Blink was flying onto the ship to perform so she jumped at the opportunity to volunteer to help with stage hand work. She Worked all night on the flight deck, stayed awake all day to be able to watch them perform, met the band, and was able to walk away with some pretty cool swag. She was given the used drumhead and stick working with the stage crew and got them signed by the band following the concert. It was one of the best if not THE best concerts she’s seen in her life. If you can't tell Mark is her favorite lol. photos from that day, including one with Mark Hoppus and another of my sister holding Tom Delongs guitar.
She gifted these to me when she returned home and I’ve held onto these for over 20 years.
