  1. The correct answer is all 4 Matches albums. I love all the Matches love here! Maniac was alright. Now Shawn is in a band called Fortess Social Club and they're awful.
  2. Seriously, everything they have ever done is awesome. I've recently pondered if I like The Matches more than blink. To even question that in my head is a big deal lol Only recently I started listening to their (sort of) unreleased 4th album and even that is a fantastic album. They had the run of anniversary shows (I went to 4!) in November and January. They have a documentary coming out on them and the Bay Area music scene. I'm hoping that they use that to announce/promote a new album. The problem with that is how much Shawn has changed; think Tom Delonge level change in personality and taste in music. The only good thing is that Shawn is still a super cool guy and gets along with the rest of the band. Unlike Tom of course.
  3. No issues here >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAS8MpRhG-4
  4. Yeah and The Barber's Unhappiness Still crossing my fingers for a new album

  6. It's fake. That's why nobody likes it or respects Tom for crapping it out in 4 days.
  7. It's a 2 minute song and I couldn't even make it to the first chorus before I turned it off.
  8. If you want to see what it's like when they hated each other, watch the final show before the hiatus in Dublin. Now watch the Reading show before this split. I'm not saying they're bff's again, but the blood is not even close to as bad as it was last time.
  9. They absolutely hated eachother. That's not the case now. Or at least not at that level.
  10. I'm glad they got back together, I got to see them a handful of times, I love both releases and even if it's sour now, their relationship is better than it was during the hiatus.
  11. When asked about Mark, Tom would always talk about how nobody is friends with people they hung out with at 18 because of how much you both change. Considering Tom is 1000% different from who he used to be, I don't see why Jenn would be an exception. Maybe she signed a pre-nup that doesn't net her much.
  12. I didn't even realize it was the same song until the f-u-c-k part. That's how forgettable it was
  13. So? Is that Tom doing the chorus in Dammit? He does live, after all. Edit: beat me!
  14. I've always heard a lot of people question who does the "dadada's" in Story of a Lonely Guy. But I can say pretty certainly that it's both of them. The first half is Mark and the second half is Tom. I think that's the order, I haven't listened in a while but it's definitely one then the other.
  15. I was only going off the picture you posted. Ok, fair enough the guy copies Mark. But Mark dresses pretty normally. No sane person dresses like Tom. Markbot I assume doesn't copy weird ticks or stupid playing style like Leo does. So lets say Markbot is 20% of Leo.
  16. Pain pills. Pretty positive he's said that before.
  17. That's funny because I think this is his best song since Saturday Love
  18. Yeah but check out this review on Amazon I sometimes think that Tom will reach the bottom of his endless well of creativity. But it appears he is among that rare subset of musicians for who there is no end to originality and creativity. The well has no bottom. One thing I miss about vinyl and CD is all the background information. So I have no idea how much input the rest of the band had on writing and arranging the songs. Perhaps some or all of the credit goes to the band. That being said, I am continuously amazed by how many bands and how many years Tom has been doing this while never missing a beat; never choosing an easier path. Every song on every album is a unique gift for fans. Having been hopelessly addicted to the Love album (which by the way the movie is now available for), I’m happy to have something new from what I believe is the greatest band of the past few decades. No, you can’t compare them to other bands because they are in a special class, all their own. It is music of the future; beautiful, addictive, hypnotic, spiritual. The Dream Walker takes up where the Love album left us; in a beautiful place where music is as it should be; an audio work of art.
  19. And that's what they're paying these guys anyways. He must have meant the entire process of rehearsing before a tour comes to 100K
  20. Assuming Skiba can't afford it, that means Mark and Travis put it about $1.5 mil to rehearse for these 3 shows.
