  1. I thought I was the only one. I love Church on Sunday but that one part just throws everything off.
  2. I've listened to them this year more than any other band with the exception of blink and I still feel like I've barely scratched the service haha. Hopefully that Dip in the Ocean cover leads to some more music! By the way, did you get your name from their song or is that coincidental?
  3. These guys are amazing. I started listening a few months ago and I can't believe I've missed out on them for so long.
  4. You're doing amazing things for blink fans and for a great cause too.
  5. That came up on my weekly Spotify playlist too, and my friend's. I think it's starting to get some traction haha
  6. I didn't listen much to the Scumbag song before these songs dropped, so it's more like 4 new songs for me. Gotta say I'm enjoying the new stuff. So far I'd rank it: 1. Not Another Christmas Song - music video makes it even better, love how playful the song is. It's the cherry on top to blink's great 2019. 2. PS I Hope You're Happy - A couple annoying things in this one (title, Chainsmokers guy sounds like he's gargling water in prechorus because of autotune, tone of "I won't be sad for the sake of it" sounds like he's pouting or something), but the rest of the song is a really nice listen and I like Mark's vocals. Yeah it sounds like I Miss You but not like a blatant rip-off. 3. It's All Fading to Black - Lower register Mark sounds good as usual. Not exactly the biggest XXXTentacion fan but song sounds decent and I need to listen more. 4. Scumbag - Verses sound a lot like Strange Love. Song is ok and Mark's feature makes it a little better. This one might have the most potential to grow on me because of the chorus.
  7. Classic blink Christmas vibes, what could be better? Great song and fun video.

-Lakers are doing a lot better than I thought. -Clippers are still my title picks. -Doncic is going to win MVP at some point. Smarter than most of the league and he's only 20. That's amazing. -Celtics are so much better as a team without Kyrie playing hero ball and dissing young players. -Melo is not going to save the Blazers. They're already dead last in assists and now they get to stand and watch Melo drop their FG%. -Rockets are off to a way better start than I thought but with Westbrook + Harden I still can't see them getting beyond (maybe) the conference finals. Also, went to the Spurs-Wizards game last night (first Spurs game since 2014 I think!) and man, our defense is so bad. It's so weird and upsetting as a fan to see them continue to use these lineups while young guys (Lonnie, Derrick White, Metu) get too little or no playing time. I wouldn't mind a reset at this point but I doubt any serious change will happen. Ah well, we were due for this at some point, right?
  9. "Need a Travis that I can train. Need a Hoppus that I can train" lol
  10. Really enjoying this album still. A new song seems to be stuck in my head every day. Was Run Away today, Heaven yesterday, On Some Emo Shit the day before. The gang really outdid themselves.
  11. Mixing was bad. I don't know if it was the stream I was watching but the audio randomly dropped for a split second. And some parts the instruments were too loud for a few seconds and they'd have to adjust it. Still, Matt sounds good, especially on First Date.
  12. Agreed. I like his review format. He definitely lets his bias get in the way sometimes but he gives some solid points and he's introduced me to some new music.
  13. I actually like the length of Ransom. It's like a short story with a twist at the end.
  14. Ransom is a fucking great song. Early favorite for sure.
  15. I'm mixed after my first listen. I'm definitely gonna let the songs sink in more before saying it's the 3rd best blink album like I did last time haha. Still, so cool to see positive reactions all-around here. Nothing beats album leak day. First impressions: The First Time is awesome. Heaven actually sounds like +44 meets AK3 (!). Black Rain and No Heart to Speak Of are standouts. Ransom is a fun little song. Remember to Forget Me is the worst song imo. I'm so glad they experimented more instead of giving us generic songs like the ones on Cali. For example, I wasn't very into On Some Emo Shit, but the outro was phenomenal and now I want to come back to it. Speaking of which, the outros on some of these songs are some of the best points in the album. Reminds me of +44. I still think they can and should push it more experimentation-wise, but it's a step in the right direction and I think a lot of it will grow on me the more I listen.
  16. I'm really into all 3 bands too. Exciting stuff! Didn't expect all 3 to put out new music and announce new albums today but I love it. I think I'm 2/3 on the new songs, with Green Day at the bottom. Hopefully I can catch them next August in DC or Philly.
  17. Not feeling this one. I'm down for poppy music if that's what they want to do, after all no band should have to stick with one genre. I enjoy Paramore's older and newer stuff. But this doesn't really seem genuine. It feels more like they're following a formula instead of writing stuff they care about. I still like BIOMY and I was all over Cali when it released, but listening to post-Tom blink and Neighborhoods/DED there's just no comparison for me anymore. It makes me sad when they talk about how personal the music is to them, only to hear that Feldmann came up with the chorus and that they followed a "first thought best thought" formula. I'm just confused as to why they're going this route. They brought on Matt Skiba, who's a talented musician/songwriter, and basically have him yell choruses while they unnaturally overproduce his voice. Imagine if they had a hands off producer who let them develop songs on their own. Why wouldn't they want to do that at this stage in their careers? They know what they're capable of without outside help. My best guess is that they really want songwriters to help them cater to the teenage demographic. But again, why play to popularity at this point? I really thought Mark prioritized making music he loved over that kind of stuff these days.

Just the Patty Mills highlights haha
  19. This actually grew on me a lot. Still not the biggest fan of Wayne but it's tolerable at this point. I love the new vocals from Mark, and I'd be interested in hearing other older stuff re-recorded with Matt because they really nailed this one.
  20. I knew it was going to be great after hearing the live version. Mark seems so much more free in this band. Maybe it's the chemistry with Alex or maybe he doesn't feel pressured to write to an audience.
  21. I think Tom was the only non-cringey part of the video
