I've been in bands and played many shows, drinking alcohol before a show fucks you up. you play so badly, you sing worse, and everything gets harder (no pun intended). I also know a few musicians who are in popular known bands where I live. None of them drinks a sip of alcohol before a show because of the same reason. I think it's really unprofessional to be drunk on stage when you're playing in front of thousands of people who paid a lot of money to see you.

In NME to the stage with AVA he says he always takes massive intake of alcohol or caffeine before every show. Also, Mark drinks 2 very strong Gin and diet coke before shows.

I think they need to make some announcement soon. How many songs, how far in the process, talk about feldmann, other producers maybe, guests, how are the songs, direction with the album and so on. I mean, they must have something to say! They're probably staying away from media and let the music speak for itself and try not to make any statements that might fuck up what's later to come and not promise anything. But just something!

I've always thought it to be weird that Mark and Travis didn't want to take a break like for the year or whatever Tom requested. didn't Mark agree to some 3 or 6 months? "who get's months off work to spend time with their family?" or something. I've always thought that to be a fucked up statement considering they've been touring for years and not spending time with their families like a normal 9-5 worker does. and they had children that they didnt see grow up. So fuck that. I completely side with Tom on that even though I loathe the guy today.

I have to admit. If Tom would be sane again and could somehow prove that hes legit and the chemistry is genuine. I would love him back in the band.
