@Locean Breeze - Jan fun fact, “Can’t Go Back” didn’t use a drum sample, at least for the snare drum. Cool new video from the producer GOAT just dropped on Reverb today. Apparently T-Rav just recorded all the drums for Yellowcard’s new album as well.

Just found out about this guy. Normally I would shit all over someone like this. Cheesy remake of a song, and he’s done plenty more 90s hits, as well as some originals. But I’ll be damned if this ain’t some catchy shit. I cringed at first but I couldn’t look away lol

Saw all these and they are amazing! Prior to this I was never able to see footage from these shows. And Damon killed it on the drums! I am not surprised though because his drumming on Lechuza was top tier. It’s funny though because at the time of the tour he was Fenix TX’s guitarist, not drummer…so their drummer had to have felt awkward knowing his guitarist was a better drummer than himself lol

Just a normal set up. But had them put thicker strings on it and asked it to be set up in Drop C#. They returned it in C# standard lol but that’s been fun to mess around with. I wanted it in drop tuning since that’s easier for the larger neck and my small hands…but so far haven’t bothered changing it from c# standard yet. Think I just needed something different to avoid getting bored

Yea I’ve seen a few people here trash Travis’s book but I enjoyed it a lot. It was cool to read the progression of his life. He was always destined to make it big as a drummer and it was cool to read his story of destiny.
