Would have been nice, but at the end of the day they bent the knee which is no shocker.
Have you ever seen that video where they got spooked and ran offstage? Bunch of pussies if you ask me.
I was at this show dumbass. Comerica Park in Detroit. There was a drone flying around and security rushed them off stage. Weird you think that is some “gotya” moment. I don’t really care what you think about Green Day though. Again, you literally voted for Trump multiple times and you were too dumb to realize what we were all telling you for years until it was too late. You don’t get to criticize anyone for “bEnDiNg tHe kNeE.”

Thanks for the laugh this morning. First off GD are the biggest bunch of phony hypocrites to walk this earth. Do you really still buy their anti establishment schtick while they play the superbowl and suck the corporate tit everyday of their lives? Sounds like you are stuck in 2004. Or maybe even 1994. Jesus dude.
Second, do you seriously think the solution to everything going on is some tiny 54 year old man, with an equally miniature guitar, with dyed blond hair and botox, saying "MAGA agenda"? LMAO! Yep- That will sure slow the wheels on a dictatorship! Good job as usual Ditty!
Cry harder. I know what they are dude it’s not like im saying they’re fucking prime nofx or some ultra anti-mainstream act lol. They just have a big platform and it woulda been cool to see them shit on Trump. Youre way overthinking it per usual. You got us into this fucking mess so why don’t you get off your fucking ass and go make yourself useful?

Why would I be jealous? Green Day are one of my favorite bands from the 90s/early 2000s. Blink just reigns supreme. #1
Except for you have no metric other than your personal feelings to put blink #1. That’s why I can’t take you seriously. Green Day is 1a and blink is 1b. If you can’t accept that, then youre a fucking clown who’s opinion will never be taken seriously on anything else because you don’t look at things objectively.
-
They didn’t say shit about Trump though, or if they did it wasn’t televised. Neutered performance so ultimately that was a let down and I didn’t need to worry about tuning in for that.

Billie Joe looks like a lady who cut my hair one time. They sound good though. All American Idiot songs, like I said, clinging on.
please tell me that’s not Noodles with them. Looks identical.
nice backtracks by the way pretty clear on American Idiot right now @fap how does that make you feel?
Youre such a hypocrite dude. You’re a clown, and once again coming from a place of jealousy and envy, so I won’t even bother addressing your lies and false statements here. Cope harder

I think a lot of fans who grew up with it (mid-90s) hold it dear because it was their entry point. Sometimes it's just because of that. The production gets some flak for being more mainstream rock polished compared to their more punk early stuff, but yeah it's definitely their darkest/angstiest era, and that darkness is also why so many call it their favorite.
I discovered them in 2004 with Sex, Love & Rock 'n' Roll so that will always be my favorite album along with Mommy's Little Monster because it's the album I bought next. But just like you I love all their eras.
Yea I just listened to Untitled and youre right! I definitely heard and listened to it before and im pretty sure they played it the last time I saw them live in July. They just have so many different eras, when I’m in the mood for Social D that’s just not one I put on. But that’s gonna change now. I think the slower build up of the song never kept my attention, but those last couple choruses are powerful. I need to start listening to more of your recommendations of things I haven’t listened to before lol. Im just lazy with a short attention span 🫡

Great song. I like this album a lot, maybe it has the best drumming and solos in their entire discography. Untitled is a really underrated song on the album. But I love all their albums.
Yea I am starting to appreciate this album more. I know it gets a lot of love from so many of their fans, and Untitled is one I always skipped over. I’ll check It out again now, thanks for the recommendation!

This is from probably my least favorite Social D album White Light White Heat White Trash. It’s their darkest and angstiest album and a lot of fans say it’s their favorite. It’s great, im just saying least favorite because they don’t have any bad albums. But anyways, im really feeling the anger in this one these days.

It’s my music superbowl.
I am so happy for Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl halftime.
All the hard work and the culture he’s putting on the map, it’s massive and 100% well deserved ♥️
His performances are always fantastic, I’m ready for him to break the internet tonight.
And Green Day are so fired up and inspired right now so I also can’t wait to see them too.I don’t know any Bad Bunny songs but def look forward to checking him out! Dude has balls , he is taking so much heat (for no reason other than MAGA hate).

I’ve said this five times now Diddy.
Cool, you act like it’s a knock on the band for changing up a song live lol. Better than just playing it to a T with a million backing tracks
stay jelly buddy im having a Green Day today!!!

I used to love Hitchin’ A Ride, but hearing it live 5 or 6 times kinda ruined the song for me. It probably wouldn’t be a big thing if there wasn’t already a 15-minute King For A Day/Shout medley with different covers inside of it, 10 other minutes of Know Your Enemy etc.
Still love Green Day though.I didn’t realize they did that live for this song lol. I can’t remember if they played it or not when I saw them a year and a half ago

Pretty progressive if you ask me.
Anything exciting going on in Wisconsin for the big game?

I haven’t loved anything after American Idiot. Revolution radio and Saviors was kind of good but still just recycled goods.
Right, because blink is so progressive and revolutionary lol. Tom has recycled so many riffs over the years. All you need to do is stop being a hypocrite and give respect where it is due. Green Day is about to represent this pop/punk rock n roll thing on one of the biggest stages in one of the most important times of our lives. Put some respect on their fucking names and stop being an ignorant douchebag towards them. Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Gimmicky and Green Day? Noo
You’re so ignorant dude. Says the dude who is fanboying for the naked band who had plenty of gimmicks. Why do you make me point this shit out? Im not attacking blink im just pointing out how much of a delusional hypocrite you are lol
Also Green Day isnt a gimmicky band at all. Extended live songs aren’t gimmicks dude, they already sold the records and got people to the show. Dont be a moron.
But I figured it out. You’re coming from a place of jealousy and envy. Jealousy is a sickness. Suck on this Jellysickle, bro.

I don’t really know what you mean by gimmicky but yea I always just wait for the bridge and ending lol

Legit lol’d at this.
that’s one of the few Green Day songs I truly hate lol.
You guys have trash taste. Hitchin A Ride is great, especially the bridge and ending of the song as it crescendos into heaven. I guess you’d rather rock out to Always or First Date more power to ya nerds 😘

Everyone knows people still listen to Blink's CDs and burned their Green Day ones a long time ago because they realized they only need one to hear the same song over and over again.
You are delusional. Meanwhile, blink is still riding off the coat tails of All the Small Things and I Miss You. It’s just annoying and pitiful when you don’t argue in good faith. Cope harder

Yeah, she also hated on Billie for being anti Trump. Weird stuff.
Yea that is weird. I didn’t find that out until recently. Kind of surprised.

Tbf there are some documented Maga shit with Green Day too.
Yea isnt Mike’s wife anti-vaxx or something? Oh well, Billie still shits on Trump all the time and I hope they really piss some people off this Sunday
