I get it sucks that they have lost some of their views but he is suing the neighbor for damages. What damages? Lol
Damages to his mental health for not being able to see the views. Maybe it will inspire a great song

Apparently Mark is suing his neighbor over a tree. That’s not very punk rock Mark!

Yep. There is the official multitrack floating around (maybe extracted from Guitar Hero or something), and is really cool to hear the bass line. I used to use the drum part to play along using Guitar Rig.
In this regard, I think Untitled would benefit A LOT in terms of sound if any specialized studio could do an 'audiophile' remastering. It would achieve another level in terms of depth and surrounding. Untitled is gorgeous, it sounds great and shows an amazing production. It was their first record done using digital equipment, but using 'old' techniques and analog stuff too. Finn and his engineer nailed it.
I just don’t think the production is as good on that album for whatever reason. Bass is too low, drums are too low imo. But i might be a little biased against the album. I think Asthenia is amazing but most of the other songs I could do without.

It’s a cool instrumental. I always loved how simple Blink songs are but when you really listen to them it’s always a bunch of intricate little pieces put together. Listening to this I realized they used the verse riff in the outro too. I never heard that before, pretty cool.
Yup, I forgot to mention that part at the end as well. This instrumental really is great

I agree with a lot of the others here. TOYPAJ is their best album in terms of tones and production. The lyrics just didn’t age well, and seem like they were forced when looking back. I was 14 when the album came out, and thought the lyrics were genius at the time, lol. But that just goes to show they knew who they were writing for.

The first Green Day track I remember hearing was Welcome To Paradise and it has more in common with Blink and GC than it does the Ramones or the Sex Pistols.
I don’t know about that

Just throwing some love to this gorgeus song. I fell in love with it when it came out. Even the first leak, which was titled Action (from that videogame I don't remember).
I love the instrumental.
The instrumental is great because you can hear the bass line a lot better in this song. Such a great bass line that I didn’t really know existed. It’s a shame Jerry had it so low in the mix of the actual song

Are they? I think they’re more punk rock. Wouldn’t say there’s anything poppy about green day tbh
This is a dumb take, but it could be argued that Offspring is not pop punk, especially their earlier albums

Remove the polish and production style from TOYPAJ and it's Dude Ranch songs. You know i'm right.
Actually, no you’re not right lol

7 Cali/deluxe songs here. Just under 1/3 of the set all new. As you said they did it with neighbourhoods too. When I saw them in 2013 here it was first shows after Dogs Eatjng Dogs ep and we got 3 of those songs plus neighbourhoods songs.
Im not expecting a set full of new songs but by February next year the album should be well and truly out with a few singles released too. Wouldn’t be too surprising to get edging + a few of those at the shows next year.
Damn that’s a pretty good set list right there. Didn’t realize they ever played Parking Lot live. All Hail Parking Lot!!!

I thought we were supposed to get a single today? Everyone was so sure lmfao

Oliver bailed on me for Chicago show.
Diddy just bailed on me for Detroit meet up.
This isn't good for my self esteem guys.
But I don't think it's me after speaking with my therapist. She says the cool blink members need to just live closer to me, instead of the turds. 🖕
Oh is this the comment you were referring to when you said you were joking? Lol I was kinda confused by that at the time

It’s funny to me that so many people were fooled. None of these answers sound like anything Mark would say at all. This Sasha guy seems like an Oliver level of pathological liar starving for attention

Haha I remember that. Is the interview somewhere?
It’s archived here somewhere in the hall of fame I believe

That happened right after I discovered this place and it was so fucking absurd and ridiculous and stupid that I knew I had to stay forever. Haha
Was this the guy who faked an interview with Mark?

Edging came out like what 7 months ago and the album date hasnt been announced so I am assuming at this point that edging isn’t going to be on the album, surely?
Not following this logic. Weren’t some of the AVa singles out for 2 years before the last album and were still included on it?

Hm... no?
Is not Dave and friends. They have a solid and constant line-up, except fo the drummer. They have had 3 at this point (not counting Grohl in the studio). Pat Smear wasn't a full member since the begining, if memory serves me right, but it's a full member since a quite good amount of years now.
Thanks for explaining this lol. Chris Shifflet is also a great guitarist who came from No Use For A Name

Love that song. The other 2 I've heard from the album though, not so much.
Yea, I haven’t listened to the other ones yet but that song caught my attention immediately

There’s nothing impressive about that tbh. Kinda weird Dave moved on so suddenly.
The Foo Fighters slander around here is criminal. That is impressive. And their new song “Under You” is great.

How do you feel knowing that Mark is spending more time suing his neighbors for overgrown trees than he is finishing the record?
