  1. Like what? You’ve wanked to every picture on google images already?
  2. The lyrics are whatever, fine, they're cringey melodies. Katy Perry shit. Figures you'd like it. Idk why they started changing up their verse melodies since California but I personally hate it and I know some others know what I'm talking about. SOOHM, Parking Lot comes to mind. This is Tom's Parking Lot. Chorus is great though. Ugh my porn trigger word.
  3. I never said anything was wrong with the ‘riffing’. I said the vocals on the verses are cringey/bad. Chorus is chill. Nice try, Diddy. Bridge is also trash. =this has been deemed overrated
  4. Due to multiple production issues: 1. Turpentine 2. Terrified/MTYK 3. One Night Stand fallen masterpieces due to production issues: Anthem 3, Otherside IN THAT ORDER
  5. The melodies are shite though. Not buying it. They need to stick to what they’re good at on those verses and I did relisten to One Night Stand right after and can confirm it’s still a top tier song and top 3 on OMT era. Replayed it 3X
  6. If You Never Left is overrated those verses are hot doggy cringe
  7. All In My Head is a bit of a grower. Minus the shit drum snare, it really hits a lot of boxes. I wish mark didn’t hang those “far from the shoreee” notes kinda stinks or it’d be a perfect late-blink song
  8. Yeah I was a chiltlin when it came out, but we all got each CD to sneak the bonus tracks/joke tracks on against our parent’s wishes. I remember
  9. TOYPAJ sounds really good but it’s definitely their least inspiring/lyrically impressive album (not counting Cali-Nine —annoying we have to do this now) I want to put it below NH often, but it just sounds so.. iconic & definitive of the band’s sound. OMT can be even worse lyrically.. but also better at times.
  10. Which one’s about me? How much whataburger did it take to get through this? Cathode Rachel sounds interesting.
  11. Enjoyed OMT launch quite a bit, flew down to see them live and everything that weekend. Good times. Still ‘like it’, production bothers me. Enjoyed Cali & Deluxe quite a bit, who wasn’t excited after all those years? Deluxe had some bangers too. Grew to dislike it but still consider it ‘okay’. Hated Nine from the jump, couple good songs. Liked NH and ran it every day. Didn’t love it until after the fact though. DED loved off rip. Like it better than all the follow ups (although A3 probably hit me the hardest since When I Was Young). So actually enjoyed OMT, currently still enjoy NH?
  12. Travis Barker inserting himself into vocal tracks for blink was the day we knew humanity was in fact over in 2020
  13. Tom killed the band in 2006. Mark wrote his revenge peace in 2006 because he was still in it. We've been dealing with scraps ever since. That was just the end of Tom's care for blink music. They're still good artists..still make good music..bla bla. But that was the chapter/book whatever closing on their heart being in it. I wish Hearts All Gone was made a bit better, because that would hit so hard.
  14. Rick Rubin is a douche rock producer but I swear it'd bring out some magical songs. Just give us a 5 track EP. They've done the same album deluxe thing enough now.
  15. A douchebag rock producer with Blink's material would be so interesting though. I'm starting to think they didn't do this because they wanted to have so much of it co-written and cover up Mark & Tom's laziness.
  16. Idk sounds pretty balanced and nicely polished to me. The guitars could be samples for all I care. Not the point. The sound is balanced and correct on TTMD. He made MGK sound way better than was even necessary. OMT on the other hand. Vocal dips all over the place. Drum sound horrendous, especially the snares are 10X louder than necessary. Vocal harmonies sound artificial. Can't hear guitars on songs like Edging. It's a mess.
  17. Tickets to my Downfall sounds similar to OMT to you?... not really brah. Much more tame snare that's forsure and guitars are not using old blink emulators they talked about. Much more a pop/hip hop sounding album with that modern pop punk sound. Travis absolutely nailed that one. Listening to it now. OMT is a clusterfuck of Travis probably over producing. I don't blame him, that was a lot of pressure. They should have handed it off.
  18. Yea but they were produced well for a modern day pop/punk album. Definitely hit the mark with what they were going for. Like better than OMT, I think Trav tries too hard/overthinks production on OMT because of all the pressure? Idk. It's Blink's St. Anger level of bad snare, and I'm sick of Travis wanting everybody to think he wrote this and that. It's a new thing with producers, super irritating.
  19. ‘You can tell’ has definitely gone from paranoia about it to confirmed. It’s definitely about 50/50. Can tell when Tom wrote a signature Tom part, or when it’s just standard guitar playing was probably not. Same with the lyrics and songs. Bad News was 1,000% not written all by Mark if OMT wasn’t. My instincts say WWWY, MTYK, and Terrified (obviously) were Tom. Otherside was Mark. Rest were a wash/mix. THAT’S why you don’t hear shit about the song writing/inspiration on any of those song breakdowns or that it didn’t feel like they actually sat down and wrote about it. I’m disappointed, ngl
  20. I definitely respect his knowledge and dedication, but he clearly is not the right one for that role given exactly this. His ear is just not right for it. The snare was shitt. Yet he did kill it for MGK and others?
  21. Honestly, that just solidifies this as California pt. 2 with Tom & a few gems, luckily. I don’t need some guy named Greg writing my blink songs. I don’t need Travis’ egomaniac writing them either. I need Mark & Tom. That’s what I signed up for. And yes they owe me as a longtime fan. That said, it’s still good music and good to hear Tom & Mark on songs to any capacity. They can almost do no wrong because their dynamic is that good. This also solidifies Neighborhoods as better. Tom & Mark definitely wrote that bullshit.
  22. Travis is notorious for this now. He’s sort of the LeBron James of music now and wants all the glory. also Diddy don’t post the same thing in two threads got damn.
