Why because you are him? Anyway that's not the point. It's what he was trying to portray, and then acting all smug and hard, but then before you get pissed you realize he's in his parents basement with all these nice guitars and decorations and it's just super comical at that point. It's not like he was under 20 in any of those videos.

I'll always be Blink above Green Day, although I really enjoyed earlier Green Day, always more into Blink. That said, I am a bit jealous that Green Day was able to capture an older vintage sound (like Blink did with California having TOYPAJ style) AND provide great lyrical content still and way better lyric video. California was good for what it was, but seriously no excuses next release after them being together all tour. Lyrics need to be there.

It has to be though. The way he acts (pouty) just supports that. Maybe not anymore but in the videos I've seen

(Poll) Favorite Dogs Eating Dogs song

He has better moments on California than all of Neighborhoods and DED to be honest. Plenty of filler lyrics, definitely no +44, but there were at least good moments again and maybe his best bass writing. Really just the melodies though we're vintage besides like Sober, left alone verses. San Diego though..mm mm mm. Cynical verse is my favorite from him though -
Dude that's crazy. I never waste my time on YouTube, but I came across his videos during this whole Blink comeback and kind of just felt like trolling him because 1. He responded to his commenters 2. His room totally screamed 'parents basement' yet he was trying to act all tough n boss when he was probably mid-upper 20s living there 3. Smug yet sensitive in his comments 4. Try-hard guitar riffs and clearly trying to make money off his channel, posting after every Blink release claiming he's just a fan being a fan then BAM DONATE Fuck him

(Album Showdown) WYHSB vs California

Not sure I like the idea of head to head. What determines seeding? Why not just do all albums at once? I'm a fan of California, but wyhsb is peaking in my life right now. I listen to it everyday for a month now and more than I did then. It's truly a fantastic album and sound. Lillian, Baby come on (especially acoustic version), Lycanthrope, chapter 13 are some of my favorite songs ever.. The rest of the album is top notch as well. I've repeated myself a ton now so basically I think the +44 album was fantastic and genuine writing from mark at his best..I think that sort of anger and heartbreak in Blink brought out a moment of strength in him that he truly believed he was a good artist and writer.. he was competitive in there forsure. I mean make you smile bringing that female on was a great progression for Mark too that he honestly could have stuck with and gone far imo. He's great on his own, just scared to do it or loyal to Blink which I get -
Just realized how much Brohemian just rips off Dumpweed.. Just a joke song so not a big deal but Matt, while helped us bring a great album, really has to prove himself as a guitar writer as well on the next album

Greatest Blink opening song to album
Centrist_Jans Cookbook replied to Centrist_Jans Cookbook's topic in Blink 182
Ended up voting Dumpweed. Feeling This is arguably their best song ever and definitely a good opener but doesn't really open you to the album and new sound quite as smoothly as Dumpweed does. Also not being the best song on the album (Feeling This arguably, Cynical, when I was young imo) actually benefits this. It leaves you with a better overall flow of the album. I wanted to vote Pathetic and find the lack of votes upsetting, because it just marks the beginning, for many, of this awesome vocal duo and just a great song in general. The trade off to introduce Dude Ranch sound is perfect. Also considered Cynical because it sort of saves that album by starting it off with a true intro and bang. It's pretty perfect of an intro. When I was young is great but only an EP hard to choose that. Ghost isn't bad but not a special intro. -

When I was young X10. Probably my favorite reunion song. Very Box Car esque to me with a small Mark background harmony just awesome. I think they messed up on the bridge though and never fixed it? Tom just like stops his guitar very sudden. -
Greatest Blink opening song to album
Centrist_Jans Cookbook replied to Centrist_Jans Cookbook's topic in Blink 182
I agree but it doesn't actually flow into the rest of the album as well as some of the others. It seems like an outlier to me on Untitled actually. A perfect Blink song yes and defining and a perfect opener to the concert...but Dumpweed, pathetic, those define what's to come. Cynical even is literally made to be an opener intro not even a full song. -
Good luck. Hope this one isn't as impossible for you as it was for me and ruins your day.. the opening song is something they've always made an emphasis. I haven't decided yet, only Anthem, Ghost, and Carousel can really be crossed off for me.

That's literally what he does/is..

2016 Summer Tour General Discussion
Centrist_Jans Cookbook replied to GOFFGLAZER2025's topic in Blink 182
Sounds like a strip club honestly. 30 minutes for something fake and completely too short. Except strip clubs offer ONE song for 40 bucks nowadays (was this always this way? I got dragged to a couple this year and felt this 40$/song was some new rip off). So 3 minutes. But same idea. Minus getting dances from Blink 182.. you know what I mean. I'll stop there. -

Well 1. She's a girl, which a band is probably 1,000 times more interested in meeting or being nice to than a dude they don't know (wouldn't you?). Unless you're a kid/teen/or a girl, do you REALLY think they're that interested in pleasing you at a meet n greet. 2. These guys have done 1,000 meet n greets and probably got tiring and old after the first couple years when they started getting weird shit coming to them I mean saying an interesting compliment is cool and all but trying to spark a random conversation like that is just, they don't have time for that shit. You don't need to be embarrassed who cares but it's pretty naive. They're human but maybe not the best time when they have other ppl to meet too -

Sounds familiar doesn't it. Really funny actually..almost spit my coffee out -
@Ghent I like your positioning of taking back Sunday. Never get enough of them. @_Kyle_how would I know that? @dyls5 I personally would never do that and are more like you where I moved smartly.. Saved up a lot, got job opportunities lined up for backups and a base while chasing.. But while I think plenty are dumb following the crowd or something.. part of me hates that I spent so much time saving up because things change and your heart changes a bit so sometimes I feel 'late' on my move. However my bank account couldn't thank me enough for not getting drained doing so.

Well probably because you live in your parents basement yet and never have tried to go out and chase your dreams to know what that pressure is like, moving to a place like LA will run you broke as a joke if you don't make it. I thought the meaning was clever and new. You realize how many people go out there to chase something or run away and are never saved and end up living nearly homeless lifestyle?
