Ironically the best Bryan Keith Holland has ever sounded. Considering they have no originality, you bet they have a cover of every band out there. Not bad, but Noodles strumming is disrespect.

Because Essentially he went back to his more natural voice rather than the yodels, emo annunciations he was doing on AvA for a long, long time. He was a lot more upbeat again, both guitar and vocals felt this way on Euphoria and OMT.

Idk man, I felt all sorts of Dude Ranchey stuff on Pt 3 mixed with California (Mark's part, drums). It was a cool mix. That's just how I feel about it, don't spend 2 pages making it a big deal on my analysis thanks in advance (you know who you are).

Man, that song is powerful. Maybe it’s all the Tik Toks have ruined the ability to appreciate a slow song. The only part that holds it back for me is the bridge..the guitars just seem ‘thin’ or something, and the stupid drums of course, I really don’t know what happened to Travis’ ability to play within the song but it’s like he feels he has to carry too much weight with blink now? Mark’s part is pretty cool here tho. I really think it’s one of Tom’s better choruses. Stuck in life’s waiting room is an all timer Mark line. what’s not to love? I really like how much of OMT plucks feels from old albums, you can hear some bits of all prior albums throughout, which I think many of us gave up on ever being a thing. I know I’ll get a lashing for this, but that was my exact thought as soon as I heard ‘Rebel Girl’ - “Wait, is Tom really going back to his roots?” And he definitely surprisingly did.

It is one of the better modern albums. I’ve been complaining about the exploding drums since day 1 though. It’s hard to go from Skiba/Feldmann/NINE era and not over-celebrate the simple sound of Mark & Tom back together again, but in their late 40s/50 now. One More Time is still a very solid album. The overloud drums, autotune at times, and some of the lyrics held it back some. Turpentine, Anthem 3, MTYK, YDKWYG, TTO really did me in first time though.

Yea they gotta fix that drumming drowning out all the other sounds. Finn was just so essential to their heyday it’s clear
