  1. totally. It feels pretty lame now, knowing their live performances from youtube already. It's not only the jokes. It's also the pick flicking or the crawling underneath the microphone stand and stuff like that. Last time I saw them live, I annoyed my friend big time by always telling her beforehand what they are about to do. The shows sadly feel kind of mechanic now.
  2. thanks guys for not making fun of me when I get stuff wrong. I'm not a native speaker, so irony and sarcasm sometimes go over my head
  3. yeah I know, shipping is super expenisive over here. I have to pay customs only for the shipping already without the actual goods. It's hard to get my fingers on some cool stuff.
  4. sorry, I got carried away by the excitement of the alk3 fans and read over the part where he said, sorry, it's not an album. A few songs make more sense. One is supposed to sound like from the Goddamnit (which they really recorded in like 5 days) era and it makes me super curious.
  5. I'm always surprised how fast other bands are making progress, recording an album
  6. I really hope so. Usually, Europe dates were anounced before Christmas already
  7. I don't remember if it was rollerpig already from the beginning or if he first used another name, but his first myspace used to be wild. there was a pretty bitter, sarcastic introduction at first and you just knew how pissed and heartbroken he still was. I could kick my ass for not screen shotting it back then, but I was a stupid teen who didn't know how much these historical moments would mean to me today, lol. I know the description said "male, 33 years old (shudder)" it stuck with me. Also there were crazy stories about pranks and stuff that became a bit weird when you realized, oh shit, that guy has a child already? He toned it down a lot, the more popular it became and turned it into a generic artist site that promoted his podcast and +44. Man I so wanna read this first introduction and the prank stories again. He had this photo uploaded, the capture said: looking pretty straight here, huh? I'm not a 100 % sure, but judging by the jacket, this could have been taken at Travis' wedding.
  8. Oh yeah, I love all the weird stuff Mark started out of boredom during the hiatus. Anybody remember his old Myspace, where he wrote the weirdest shit and pranked random people in men restrooms? (sorry for the Mark appreciation in the Matt appreciation thread, but yeah, he really should continue his podcast)
  9. I've done that before. more than once. only got some hate from the Tombies lol
