while that record i still maintain is tremendous and a staple especially the opener anthem part 2 and staytogetherfordakids looking back, i did feel like the band had gotten into that "fake mtv media" sort of mindset at the time (not neccesrly all their fault ) where wthout saying they were acting fake i think they were following in the footsteps of alot of other artists that needed to fulfil that needed "for the show" aspect of it to be on mtv and make alot of money(not blaming them for trying to make money, money is hard as heck to make and u never know when ur gonna need a huge amount of it for say a random medical bill or for friend and what you said about lack of promotion lack of touring, yes thats definitely inline with that, do as little as u need as long as ur making a certain amount of money and another thing i want to add tho this could be a miss reading of mine, toward the end of 2001 it did feel like there was some fatigue blink had been going on for a long time and while they still did what i consider their greatest album (untitled) through it, it did come with the ban imploding on itself not long after so your take there may be very correct today in comparison, while i do have my critisms of mark and tom, i do like especialy with mark out of the two, how he's more just himself when u see him around on tv or anywhere else i much prefer that to the "lets sell them that we all live amazing spotless rich peoples live" nonsense of the 90s early 2000s

lets make no mistake here, cheshire cat and bhudda are both great albums. yes they made even better albums after, they realy werent there yet as a band when they did cheshire cat n bhudda but they remain still fantastic piece theres so many fantastic riffs all over those two album even more than alot of great bands with a very similar genre at the time it was definitly a sign of how great tom and mark were as songwriters and it only makes sense what they evolved into after that just liste to this part at 41 seconds, amazing stuff, one could even make a point that they never had this much pure raw swag again

both bands are amazing but the covers they made of each others song are realy unspired, dry, and not bringing anyhting to the table

Great songwriter, one of the best of all time. but Ever since I heard him talk in a condescending and non supportive way about his daughter (out of the rare times I've heard him speak of her, sigh...), I knew he was that sort of person So that sort of behavior brought up in that video doesn't surprise me at all.

After all, Scott will always be an iconic part of those first three Blink albums (if you count Buddha). He pulled off some really great drum tracks that fit perfectly with the music they were doing at the time. The Travis stuff wouldn’t have been right back then. They needed something simpler and more amateurish-sounding. It was the heart of that early style they had. And now, whenever we sit back and put on those old records while dreaming of the past, we hear Scott drumming. So unless Scott did something really bad to them (which is a possibility), there’s no reason for them not to be cordial with Scott and praise him for the important drumming he brought to those records.

yes it was odd how they felt like talking about the boxcar situation, then mark has to chime in abut it again... so weird how mark is so upset about it yet he happily sang on one of the songs.. it was just a great thing that tom did, mark had no buisness letting his fear control him and dump it all on tom when tom was just doing a great artsy thing mark being an artist himself he hsould have embraced it fully hopefully mark has gotten over that nonsense by now tho
