  1. I recently came across a fan testimony revealing a previously undocumented Quebec date from Blink-182’s 1996 tour. This one took place in Delisle, Lac-St-Jean, on September 13, 1996 — just two days before the Trois-Rivières Flea Market gig. Here’s the fan’s account: “On our ticket, No Fun At All were listed but they didn’t play. Instead, Bodyjar showed up even though they weren’t printed on the ticket (at least not on mine). The lineup ended up being Bodyjar, Thicker, and 2B (a local band from Alma). We went from Chicoutimi on a yellow school bus for the show. I can’t find my old ticket anymore, but I clearly remember Blink playing some pre-Dude Ranch songs — at least A New Hope. Bodyjar were touring their Rimshot album at that time, and singer Cam even gave me a signed poster of it. In Saguenay, the show was organized by the singer of 2B, Joel Fortin. If I’m not mistaken, the date was September 13th, 1996 at Lac St-Jean, which fits perfectly with the rest of the Quebec dates.” I also found this : #2 Fan testimony (Charles Laplante, Le Canal Auditif, 2016): “When Blink-182 came to play in Alma, I didn’t go. I was that kind of teenager who wanted to prove he was more punk than punk itself, and I thought Blink was too commercial at the time. Looking back, I kind of regret missing that show, because it was one of the rare punk gigs in Lac-Saint-Jean back then.” Source: Charles Laplante, Le Canal Auditif – Review of California (July 11, 2016). https://lecanalauditif.ca/critiques/blink-182-california/
  2. Woah I didn't know that Youth Brigade was playing during Sno Jam!!
  3. Awesome, I'm glad to contribute!! I'm waiting to hear from a Trois-Rivières resident who was at this show. He has black and white captures of the show. According to what he told me, Mark was wearing a Strung Out shirt that night.
  4. Maybe @veeRob ? Do you have some shots of this show?
  5. Hey everyone, I’m currently documenting Blink-182’s early shows in Quebec, especially their gig at the Trois-Rivières Marché aux puces (Flea Market) on September 15, 1996. The show was put together by Atomic Productions with No Fun At All, Bodyjar and Ten days late. So far I’ve managed to track down: A Le Nouvelliste newspaper archive (Sept 14, 1996) with the show flyer (BAnQ) A scan of a ticket shared on the Punk jusqu’à la mort FB group (huge thanks 🙌) A mention of an advert credited to Chris Kennedy McGowan on this forum (still trying to locate the actual scan) 👉 What I’m mainly looking for now is visual content from the Trois-Rivières show itself: photos, videos or anything that might still be floating around. If anyone here has material tucked away in old boxes, or knows someone who was at that gig, I’d love to connect and help preserve this piece of Quebec punk history. Cheers!
