Hopefully they are more critical of Trump when they play the bigger American Football event that is like gazillion times bigger than the super bowl.
(I know it's not that much bigger, I used that number to make a point)
I haven't even seen the performance yet. One thing that makes me curious is people saying BJ sang the F-word and it was censored I'm not sure what word they are talking about. I'm assuming fuck.
I think the idea that they could have any kind of impact by saying something at the super bowl is a bit silly, but when they're so vocal in their own concerts and refuse to say anything when they have that audience is worthy of criticism, I feel.
First one I got was Greatest Hits. I still can't believe that album was re-recorded. Songs all sound identical to me. Then I got Mommy's Little Monster.
Green Bay and Green Day together would've been a cool thing though. I wonder if they'll do Nice Guys Finish Last and try to recreate the music video. Probably too obscure of a single.
I think I'd rather listen to blink mime All the Small Things and I Miss You and Whats My Age Again? Than watch Green Day play Hitchin' a Ride for ten minutes.
Brain Stew is another one. But contrary to Hitching a Ride and King for a Day I already hate Brain Stew, so at least the song isn't ruined. The saddest thing is all the good shorter songs they could've played in the timeslots given to these dragging long ones.
The ending is awesome. I think they skip the ending live though, and sometimes they drag the song out so much it becomes anticlimactic. You just want the misery to end and can't appreciate the ending for what it is.
