Bigwig Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 ill agree wiht most of ui love geddy..and cliff burton is insane..that pulling teeth solo is fucking impossible. Quote
david to the fifth power Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 mike dirnt is my favourite bassistmike is the shit, i think his true playing comes out on welcome to paradise Quote
Bigwig Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 that bass solo to welcome to paradise is a joke in itself..its 4 chords just single picked...nothing to drop jaws about. Quote
unwritten-dinasty Posted June 22, 2004 Posted June 22, 2004 a great bass player doesnt need to compose hard shit to make him a master, its the masterpiece's itself that shines. welcome to paradise is easy as taking a shit as well as longview, but i dont think any of us here would come up with something as GOOD yet so SIMPLE. as that. DelongesPick Posted June 23, 2004 Posted June 23, 2004 Roger from Less Than jake man he's amazin Quote
quienesmasmacho Posted June 30, 2004 Posted June 30, 2004 I'm not saying Victor Wooten's stuff is simply difficult to play or really technical (even though it is) but I actually really enjoy it. Have any of you heard his "Show Of Hands" album? It's incredible....all bass and vocals, yet it's more interesting than many full bands. He's the only person that I can just listen to playing bass and be completely amazed every time. Quote
atticusface Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 Roger from Less Than jake man he's amazinand matt freeman. roger is awesome though. one of the best. that trans green stingray is sweet Quote
