You kind of have to adjust your mindset while listening to DJ and he has more polished work. As you can probably tell, this song is lo-fi, crude-ish, bizarre, primitive but pure, etc. Probably won't like it the first time you hear it, but it grows on you. There's something magical about it. Any thoughts on this @...Dan...? This is actually very, very amateur music that somehow is endearing enough that I like it too.
Elisa
nothing really speaks as emotional as daniel johnston some other lo-fi artists I like are teen suicide, the mountain goats, alex g, car seat headrest, elvis depressedly, pavement, nick drake, the magnetic fields

Speedo
I decided to pick a year of music to listen to today... 1995 is that year. Starting off with Soul Asylum's Let Your Dim Light Shine. Great band, great album... It's grunge for the thinking man.

Speedo
I kind of want to do 31 days of albums from each year of my life. First day I listen to albums released in '86, second day' 87, and so on and so forth up until 2017. It's just a lot of music. It's gotta be 8 hours worth of music released in each year... So, 12 to 16 albums each day. It's going to be a pain in the ass to come up with what should be included and not.

Speedo
Here comes spring and summer! I'm finding myself getting out of the winter funk and into energetic and fun music. Teenage Bottlerocket and Lillingtons were the mainstay today.
