I’ve enjoyed all these singles, though their albums are usually a few amazing songs and a bunch of songs I immediately forget about once they're over. This one was nice overall on the first listen 😅 1 Quote
thongrider Posted May 12 Posted May 12 They played new Social D at the record store today. Was way better than I expected. Maybe the best since their self titled. 1 Quote
Electrical Substation Posted May 15 Posted May 15 Holy shit. So this song is the shit. That guitar solo screams Rolling Stones. But I’ve listened to the demo for years, and always was one of my favorite songs, regardless of never being released. So glad they reworked this: Quote

And shout out to the bassist Brett and the drummer David. Drummer’s Dad is the singer/guitarist of Los Lobos. 1 Quote

But he doesn't get the bluea and it gets him down, but not down enough to get the blues. 1 Quote
Just Good Chats Posted May 24 Posted May 24 what a song, was a career suicide at the time for them to so heavily change direciton musicly wise, but its what they wanted to do and is what they had as music to give at the time, not what they had done on their first album so great choice, their second album was fantastic even if it flew under the radar Quote
thongrider Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I read an article about the Didjits and decided to check them out. They seem very hit and miss to me. Quote
Elisa Posted May 30 Posted May 30 I didn’t know where to post it but this is the best Paul interview I’ve ever seen @thongrider 2 Quote
Elisa Posted June 11 Posted June 11 Over the past few weeks I've been listening to the first three Cranberries albums on repeat 🩷 along with the latest record by a brit band called Static Dress. Static Dress have been around for several years, but I had never listened to them before. Their newest album that came out at the end of May is really growing on me. It's a good mix of poppy and heavier songs. Quote
thongrider Posted June 11 Posted June 11 The instrumental of the Beach Boys' "Here Today" that was just released it's beautiful. Quote
Electrical Substation Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Gonna be giving this bad boy a spin later 1 1 Quote
Scott. Posted July 3 Posted July 3 @Elisa have you heard this Welsh band? They’re gaining popularity pretty quick. They’re brilliant live and this song sounds like a proper throwback to the 90s. His voice is fantastic. Cariad means Love. 1 Quote

I listened to their album last year when it came out, they sound so good! I had no idea they were Welsh. 1 Quote
