it’s the clubs fucking money you clown. The Glazers haven’t put a penny into the club, they put the club in debt to takeover ffs. Are you fucking simple in the head? Manchester United is a money making machine. It doesn’t need money pumped in from the owners like tin pot clubs like city do. We generate our own money and the glazers fucking take away. 1.8billion they have taken from the club and they’ve put FUCK ALL in.

You really are deluded. That's 1 billion the Glazers could have pocketed instead they used it to reinvest in the club - instead morons like you act like they are tight with spending and don't spend. The figures don't lie - We've spent nearly 200m on 3 players in the last 6 months alone!!!

I read this yesterday from a guy who was studying United under the Glazers - and it nailed it:

The Glazers DO drain money out of the club but this hasn't stopped us having one of the highest net transfers spends in the world over the last seven years. Only the two clubs owned by countries and pumped full of oil-money have spent more than Utd net over the last seven years (City & PSG).

But i'm sure you'll respond with some idiotic 'its our own money' argument, because you think wasting 1bn means we should correct that by spending 2bn. 🤣

Problem with both arsenal and united is the recruitment has been a bit shit over the last few years, and because of the 90's and 00's, there's fans that think it is there devine right to be winning trophies every year.

The fact is both clubs have spent big money on players, but very few of the transfers have been good value.

Absolutely. You can spend 5bn, but if its on shit players it means nothing. I think both clubs needs better staff, recruitment teams etc. But United fans pull this 'they are draining money out of the club so we can't spend argument'. Weird.

The worst thing people should do in reaction to this is to start personally attacking people and vandalising the homes of staff. Undefendable.

Not to mention since Fergie left you guys seem to go for mediocre managers (Jose was way past his prime) with no real system, which I think has been the downfall.

I’m not trying to sound like the gloating Liverpool fan but I bet if you had Klopp or pep they could have had players like Di Maria or Schweinsteiger playing a part that utilized their strengths. It’s weird that Sanchez was banging then in for Arsenal but comes to you guys and becomes a super dud. Lukaku has no first touch but the quality was there.

Manu is super dysfunctional right now. Mainly due to the guys running the team. The fans are high up their asses too and fail to recognize that Pogba alone or Alexis alone can't make this whole mess work. So they say everyone's useless or doesn't work enough when in fact it's the team in general that's in a very bad place and the guys running it have no clue on how to run a club. It's no wonder players that leave the team say the same negative stuff and end up playing better elsewhere.

Man United have a very low net spend for what they could and should be spending.

However, the money has been wasted and spending more would of probably led to even more being wasted, I can't deny that.

Once again this falls back on the Glazers for letting a man who specialises in getting sponsorship deals in make footballing decisions. Everything shit going on can be traced back to the Glazers. You are just lucky that Fergie was such a genius that he managed to get through the first half of their tenure at the club still winning things but the cracks were already there for all to see by the end, replacing Ronaldo with Valencia is the main one that comes to mind that something wasn't quite right. United could blow any other club out the water in the transfer market with their own cash but this is being used to pay back the bullshit loans and interest payments.

The whole Woodward house attack is all a bit fishy got me as well, like Scott said this happens a couple weeks after he gets Neil Ashton in to improve his PR, also happened when none of his family were home and then Ashtons paper (the fucking sun) run the story - I smell a rat, maybe little Ed is looking for some sympathy?

Net spend for the last 7 years is the 3rd highest in Europe (behind PSG & CIty). After the Bruno Fernandes deal, we might even be first now! How can it be 'very low' when you are the highest net spenders in Europe! This is a clear indication that Woodward/Glazers are bleeding money and should be accountable for that.

Completely agree - interests payments could have been used to buy players - but whats the point when they are so poor at recruiting players? We're just going to overspend on more poor players?

Its down to spending poorly - that's undeniable. Ole is the first person to come in and be relatively sensible regarding the team - offloading the deadwood/non committed players, while bringing in young hungry British players and quality youth players. The mistake they made was not replacing the outgoing players - imo, there was enough quality out there to bring replacements in for nothing last summer ie. Hector Herrera and Rabiot. This is the club that just spent 70m on a player and bid 30m for a 16yo - while still looking to buy a striker... Couldn't care less for the Glazers or Woodward, but we cannot use money as an excuse. Better scouting, better fitness staff etc should be a priority - the recruitment has been appalling - Ole, Woodward and Glazers should focus on this.

I really don't think Woodward is the kind to seek sympathy. It was an act of a bunch of cowards. Football fans love a conspiracy theory. I believe the man is genuinely at risk - and i find that disgusting.

Scrambling around all day like the last slag on the dance floor looking for a striker, they’ve known Rashford was out weeks ago ffs. We’re in desperate need of a DOF. They haven’t got a fucking clue what they’re doing. We’re probably the worst run club in the Premier League.

Martial has to be the most frustrating player i have ever seen! The most potential but laziest player in your squad..

Pretty shit window tho for united, but you have an easier run in than chelsea and spurs... if Leicester beat chelsea today and you get lucky at wolves then the top 4 looks meaty! And a spurs win at man city will get pep all sweaty;)

He used to be lazy - now he works his ass off, very noticeable this season. Shame he hasn't got the quality supply -  Bissaka's crossing in good positions is woeful.

I think its been a good window - would have like one more midfielder.

Yeah I can't see anyone stopping them, the world is devoid of truly top sides at the moment. The usual powerhouses such as Barca, Real and Bayern are all below par and I think Juventus are not as good as they were a few years back.

City need a clear out as well, how Otamendi still plays regularly is baffling - he's a complete liability now.

It won’t. They would fucking batter Madrid. Honestly it would be a crime scene

Υeah well, that's a possibility. But the midfield of Kroos-Casemiro-Valverde is miles ahead anything Liverpool have. And in a month or two I believe the fact that Liverpool will have no competition every weekend is gonna hurt them in Europe.
