Favourite guitar riff?

[Fun, Catchy Pop-Punk]

My all time favourite and always will be is Whats My Age Again?  The intro and solo are just too awesome.

Others include the intro to Damnit and Adam's Song.

But I think there are plenty of other quality guitar riffs in other songs.  The intro to Rollercoaster sounds pretty rad.

Yeah Waggy is great.  I find the Dude Ranch riffs are much more simple, but the gritty sound and less studio magic involved make them sound much more real to me, if that makes sense.

Reckless Abandon is pretty awesome.  I think TOYPAJ was the best pop-punk album when it comes to Tom's guitar style, although obviously EOTS was very similar too.

for some reason i always loved the breakdown's in 'Time to Break Up' and the live version (TMTATS) of 'Wendy Clear.'  Simple, yet such mellow little grooves

Hands down WMAA.

I know I've said this at least a few times on here before, but I'm procrastinating here and might as well again.

I had really liked Blink since about 3rd grade. Then, when I was in 7th grade, I was in art class listening to my friend's iPod. I was going through his Blink songs and saw wmaa and figured I'd give it a listen.

Literally, the second I heard the riff I was in awe, and the second it was over there was no doubt in my mind that Blink was my favorite band. I listened to it today in my car and I am in love with it just as much now as I was then.

Are there any clear rules about what should go in the general discussion topic?

I haven't seen any, so I think any discussion about this is just plain stupid. (not to attack you, this is more aimed at the mods and admins)

Anyway, I love the riff in Wasting Time, it's awesome.

And the intro of Stockholm Syndrome (if that could be considered a riff) is great too.
