Brae.
I want to pick up an acoustic guitar in about 2 weeks or so. I want to buy something that is decent quality, but won't break the bank. What should I be looking in to?
Harper.
if you havent started playing yet i recommend this.. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-DG8S-Acoustic-Guitar-Value-Pack?sku=510705 its a great starter with the bare essentials. i actually have this guitar and i absolutely love it. i would not sell it for anything in the world (lots of memories attached to it) but its a great guitar, just throw some different strings on it and its a beauty. definitely a great and reliable starter and good for shows. the tuner also is incredible for coming with the guitar. youlikemen2
http://www.zzounds.com/item--EPIDR90SPP im a big fan of epiphone so ill recommend this one. ive had one very similar actually cost less and it just finally broke on me after having it for 7 years. i tried to sand it down and do a bunch of shit to it. didnt work out but im not a fender fan so heres my recommendation. tweedz
i'd go to the closest guitar center and try out whatever's in your price range, and pick the one that is easiest for you to play. if you get one that has super high action (stirngs off fretboard) or is difficult to play/enjoy playing, then it's not going to make you want to keep coming back and picking it up and playing it, ya know? the nicer guitar you get, the more you're gonna want to play it.
