Pussay Patrol
And yeah it's kind of obvious that it cuts off early now that you mention it. That was too abrupt of an ending in my opinion. Thank fuck, I hate fade outs Wasn't really what I wanted from the first song but yeah I liked it, not bad! There are songs like that on most of their albums so I wouldn't give up hope of some up beat pop punk stuff yet
Cheerios4u98
I wonder what the first track on the album will sound like. The first track is usually pop-punk at it's finest with in-your-face electric guitars and lots of energy. Lights & Sounds, The Takedown, The Sound of You and Me, Awakening, etc... I love 'em. Pussay Patrol
I'm hoping it's that violin part from the trailer leading into an epic song like Awakening Mostly I hope that part isn't in a slow song lol
Cheerios4u98
A track list I saw showed the first track clocking in at just around two minutes long. So, there's a good chance it will be some sort of intro track... or just a really short song for some reason.
Jimmy John
I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with them trying something new. I'm very much looking forward to this record. Anyway, spun the track a few more times today, it's a bit of a grower and a bit of interesting lead single choice, but I dig it. Wonder if it'll get any radio play. Cheerios4u98
I'm excited for them to try something new too. If it's not as good, then they'll come back even stronger with their next album after it. Like how Lights & Sounds (though still very good) wasn't their best and then they came back and blew me away with Paper Walls.

Jimmy John
1 MINUTE PREVIEWS! http://www.7digital.com/artist/yellowcard/release/lift-a-sail-1/ Also the release date is officially October 7, so it turned out Ryan didn't lie to my friend when he told her October Early favorite, while I don't like judging by previews, is probably the title track. MSK sounds like it's going to be epic as well.
Chewy030
Yellowcard and NFG on the same day!!! Hells yeah! Ever since it-leaked got shut down i hardly ever listen to albums early anymore, i actually buy a shitload of more music now.
Sean.
Nice one on the link dude!Sounds solid. My Mountain and Transmission Home seem rad imo.
Cheerios4u98
Wow, they really weren't kidding when they said "no fast songs." This is very different for Yellowcard. I am a fan though. Their last two albums were basically the same thing (though I absolutely loved them both). Makes sense that they'd try something different now. I can't wait to hear the whole album. Pussay Patrol
Damn that song still had a fade out lol, so shit!!! I'm disappointed in the pace of the songs but it does sound decent at least, I'll be surprised if I like it more than Southern Air but I won't judge too much from the previews October is a great month for me in music in that case, Smith Street Band and AVA as well as Yellowcard! I really liked that weird vocal part in Fragile and Dear, and a couple of the songs others mentioned were the stand outs
Jimmy John
Make Me So... http://thesassyeel.tumblr.com/post/96997214965/yellowcard-make-me-so Diggin it.
Cheerios4u98
I like it! The idea of a slow Yellowcard album is a little weird but I really like what I've heard so far. Kind of a nice change of pace from the last two albums which were basically the same thing.
Pussay Patrol
Good song, the verses are great. They really should have put some crazy violin in the riff and chorus though... The drums are also so boring in both songs, could even be a drum machine lol. Did that Anberlin guy record with them? While I'd probably still prefer a more pop punky album full of songs like Southern Air, Ocean Avenue etc, they had done like 5 or 6 albums of that really so it's nice to have a change. There is a lot of hate on their social networks
Chewy030
i like this one better than one bedroom. The guitars so far have been good, drums aren't great which is what i was worried about with them loosing LP. Still a good song.
Cheerios4u98
I keep finding the new song stuck in my head. I think it's super catchy.
Jimmy John
Transmission Home: http://www.hauraki.co.nz/audio/now-hear-this-yellowcard-transmission-home They're 3/3 in my book. It's definitely a different direction for them, but I haven't been disappointed by anything that I've heard so far.
Pussay Patrol
I have a feeling I'll think this for every song now, but the drumming could've been so much better again, especially at the end of that song in particular. But yeah, I've liked them all so far even if it is a change slightly for the worse for my tastes
Cheerios4u98
They don't even have an official new drummer yet. I hope they'll find someone permanent instead of getting different people to play every tour and on every new record. LP's shoes won't be easy to fill though. I like the third song too! Probably my least favorite so far of the three, but still good. Can't wait to hear the entire album.
